No Gravity - Still figuring out the controls and wtf all the stuff on the HUD means. :^P It's pretty, and somewhat interesting, but it's no Shadow Squadron so far. Someone please tell me what the heck speed-+ and speed-- actually do. Do they have to be used with triangle?

Should have been $7 or so, although I guess it might pick up.

Haven't had any dogfighting yet, which is kind of what I'd hoped for.

They're selling video strategy guides now?? Thats awful! I mean like maybe I could sort of understand it if like it was for a downloadable-only game since those don't get guides but KZ2 is disc based and will have a *real* strategy guide released x_x

No Gravity: Speed+ and Speed- control your speed, triangle is an afterburner-like boost. I'm not sure if I like it yet, there's a TON of aim assist, but it's still a space shooter. Sorta. It's been dumbed down quite a bit to be playable on a portable compared to even lighter games like Wing Commander. The graphics to show ship damage makes it look like you've cracked your PSP screen.

I don't wish to speak ill of a very low budget independent production, but man... you can tell the origin. Nice use of stock photos in the intro, but I'm having trouble getting into the "mind sickness" story here. Not that the story is meant to matter or anything.

If you're really hard up for a space shooter and like supporting smaller developers, go for it. Like I said, it's playable... but that's about the best I can say.

Yeah. What's worse is I really, really wanted to like this game too. :( Hopefully someone else can play it and discover some positives I haven't noticed?

yes, I'm grasping at straws here

Wow the HOME Warhawk room is EXACTLY the type of thing which can make home a great thing.

The new Sandbox with all the multiplayer maps allowing you to plan a game is amazing. Dropping tiny Warhawks and tanks on the map is cool.

I hope they make one for Killzone2 and also allow Clubhouses to get their own Sandbox device.
That would allow the GAF clan to plan things out awesome.

Bought RayCriss, which is very similar to RayStorm.

I have to say though that I prefer RayStorm due to the setting.

Both are very playable for English speakers.

Not sure if you knew this, but you can access the manual for games by pressing triangle on XMB while highlighting UMD icon. Most games have them, in case you need help figuring out stuff. :P

Hey SCEA! There's this game called LocoRoco 2 that you released for the PSP recently! Get it up for digital purchase already you lazy f**ks!

That would make too much sense. I bet it has more to do with retailers though.

Warhawk is awesome. Hovering your Warhawk to provide ground support and then taking down two enemy Warhawks in a dogfight is one of my most awesome gaming moments.

Where would the PSone shooters be in JPN PSN? Speevy wrote about it being import friendly, so i'm interested.

Sorry for taking so long to respond.

Third option on the Japanese Playstation store is PS1 games, once you do that, the second option from the left is a submenu for categories.

Categories are self-explanatory. Within action (the first one), there's a fighting action one, wherein you'll find the fighting games.

Steer clear of traditional adventures (second from left category), RPGs (third from left), and simulations (one of those), if you don't read Japanese.

Really? Damn :|

I guess I'll just see about converting the Colony Wars games to PSP format. I wonder if we have enough buttons...

Man, I need to tear myself away from Street Fighter IV and play some Warhawk this weekend. Warhawk's always had a strong community (my brother and I played splitscreen in a 32-player online match recently), but this recent price drop should boost numbers further. Hopefully we'll see more people playing CTF in the full versions of Omega Factory and Vaporfield, two less-frequented maps I really enjoy.

Regarding this week's PSN update, I got my Femme Fatale pack for SF4 and MGO SCENE trailer, so I'm happy. I'll try the Killzone 2 demo to see if it's my cup of tea later. What's this week's Flower/Noby Noby Boy equivalent? Was anything added for Spring Fever?

I have a question about credit cards and the PSN.

Are they tied to an account once you punch in the details, or is it like Steam and they aren't stored?

Pretty sure you have the option of remembering your details or not.

I personally have mine stored. Even if there's not an option to auto-forget your details, I know for sure there's a button in the billing info screen to delete your info.

I own the disc release of Warhawk, but am seriously considering buying the PSN download version now that it's 20 bucks. Having the game ever-present for instant play would be great. I actually hardly play Warhawk because I spend so much time on my instant-play PSN games nowadays.

Ended up picking up SFIV costume pack, HAWX & MLB 2k9 demos, MGO trailer, Skate 2 San Van pack, and the Ryu costume for Home last night. Had no idea that Prinny already had dlc, so I'll most likely be grabbing that tonight.

Is there a way to buy something as a gift for someone else? or do I have to buy it myself and then share it with them. I know its superficial but I feel bad buying it for myself when it is meant as a gift.

Make a new account and buy the gift on that account and give the username/password to the person...or just send them a PSN Gift card.

Just watched the Spelunker erm...feature. Between the crazy costumed Japanese guys screaming about discovering the jump button I actually became less interested in the game.

Spelunker is a game I didn't much care for on the NES, but I had hoped they would make this version interesting.

How can I organize the PSP's xmb?

Like make a folder for demos, a folder for psone games, etc...

change the order that things appear

You can't. But there is a homebrew app called Game Categories you could use.
