It's like SCEA has gone full circle to the early PS1 era again. No Dark Mist or Catan, probably no Demon Souls, Spelunker, or Gomibaku either, and it's been months since SCEA has had anything to say about White Knight Chronicles.
Afrika (NatGeo?) and Aquanaut's Holiday too.

It's all because Folklore did so badly. :(

Actually, I remembered from one of the PS nation podcast interviews with the SCEA producer Kyle Shubel and he basically confirmed that White Knight is confirmed for US later this year.

Ok, what the hell is going on in Gomibako? I get that i'm supposed to be fitting everything into a trash can as economically as possible, but am I meant to be smashing them too? Also, what the hell does 'Mottainai' mean? And what am I supposed to do with the objects flagged as 'mottainai'?

mottainai could be translated here as: "shame to throw away/could still be used", so stuff that isn't trash and shouldn't be compacted.

Gomibako is available on the HK store IN ENGLISH. It's called "Trash Box" and costs 112HKD.

I don't think I can buy stuff in the HK store with my European credit cards, but this really suggests a western release anyway, doesn't it?

It may well be a staggered release like The Last Guy was, but the fact it's already localised in English and Chinese means that it should be coming over eventually.

Yeah, I imagine SCEE will release this in the EU store at some point - no idea whether SCEA will decide if they want it or not, hopefully they will and it won't get left in the cold like Dark Mist.

Thanks for the translation Furoba :)

Hey I love Eden and Flower and Noby Noby Boy and LocoRoco as much as everyone, but the sheer amount of content and replayability and support Pain has received is enough to earn it the top spot.

You can't save a boring game by just giving you more of it.

pixel junk monsters has a new patch.

If it's 2.20 it's been out for a while. I just launched my European PJM and it didn't prompt me to an update.

2.00 was the trophy challenges and difficulty update. They released 2.05 and 2.20 shortly after but never reported what changed, if anything. I guess they did those to polish some minor bugs in the upcoming PJ Trilogy on Blu-ray.

ah ok.

Happy to see Pain online finally, but no trophy support?

EDIT: I know it has trophies, but apparently you can't earn them when playing online.

Pain has had trophies for a while now.

And they are god damn hard ones too.
I meant that you can't earn them when playing online, because they are extremely tedious to do.

English? Or is it JP only?

Most of the menus are in English for the JP version from what I played really quickly this morning, the version on the HK store is in localized in English (and Chinese and Korean).

Any Gomibako questions?
yeah, is there a good chance of this coming to the us store? i don't feel like going to the trouble if it'll be more convenient to get and completely in english down the road.
