try setting your screen setting to automatic for pal ps1 games

No, just PAL PS1 games.

Every other region's content works, HD or not HD. I even checked the manufacturer's handbook to make sure they didn't sell me some weird TV that output at a weird resolution, but it's an HDTV.

Also, HD games from the PAL store work, like GTI Club and Astro Tripper.

Instead of choosing custom.

They normally do, but I apparently bought the only HDTV in the world that doesn't play them.

Oh yeah, all that does is makes my TV display 1080p, a resolution it doesn't natively support. It doesn't have any impact on the error messages I might receive.

I'll have to redownload some PAL content later, because I really want to fix this problem. There are some good PAL PS1 games out there.

I get the same error as you guys. Good to know I'm not alone. I thought for a second that I'd lost track of my credit card purchases and overcharged my Visa. :lol

I can't speak for DLC, however unlikely who knows the future, but for language barrier there is none, the only text I remember is the credits

The lighting in Origins shits on this version. It feels like a PS2 game in your hands. That being said, SH PS1 would still look great on a PSP screen.

Uhm...Haven't played it yet, but...not well?

Origins was a pretty great looking PSP game and Silent Hill 1 looks like poop, though it'll be more tolerable on a PSP for sure. Hopefully NA gets it today, I've wanted to replay it for a while.
