Playstation Store 05/14/09

I want BC:R so badly :(
Is there really no way for a European purchase stuff from the US PSN store?
Does Entropay not working anymore? It seems like a great solution.
I know there's the PSN cards-Ebay option, but that means I need to buy a 20$ card, and I really don't want to do it at the moment.

Why not buy it from the European store? It's reduced there as well (Certainly is in the UK anyway).

I'm not from the UK :\
I'm from Israel and suprisingly we don't have a PSN store.

Get an American Express card.
I have a Corporate Amex and it works.
So it should work for "normal" AMEX cards.

I use my regular VISA card with no problem.

Can you please tell me what extacly do you fill in the adress page?
When I opend my account I used 1225 Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills 90210.

I try to use this, but it give "Information invalid" error, which is due to, I guess, the billing information.

What do you type in adress 1, 2 and 3?

Thanks!

And get an American Express card? Not sure it's possible for me, and anyway, I don't want another CC. I'm only 20 years old too :P

i'm using a random adress for my US Account - it does not even exist. and i'm also using a VISA.

and yeah, i just bought bionic commando. even if i don't like it. 5 bucks is a nice price!

is bionic commando a difficult game?
It takes a bit to get a grasp of. Personally, I spent a lot of time in the demo before I bought it months back, and I ended up getting a lot of timing practice down through the VR time trials mode. You basically need to forget there ever was a jump button, and completely rely on the arm. There's also no real "physics" in the game when it comes to swinging, either.

ZEN Pinball winners are...

Lando_twit, Metalmurphy and PSmaster106 (Twitter usernames), so if you are one of them, check your Twit DMs :)

Like I said, I'll probably give away the 5 Texas Cheat Em codes on Monday or so. I'll update with instructions then!

Gratz all!

How are the load times ?
Same as PSX ?

I wouldn't know how they compare, but it is a PS game, and my experience with PS classics suggests that load times aren't affected much by not being on a disc.

King of Fighter 99 on Psone is a Neogeo port by SNK, and they are pretty much known for making shitty Psone ports (metal slug 1 being the most extreme example).

If I remember correctly, kof99 has pretty insane loading times as well, although not nearly as bad as for an example metal slug.

It's a good game, but I'd go for the Dreamcast version if I would get a console port.

I've been out of the PSN loop every since I sold my PS3 last year. However, I recently got rid of my DSi and games and am preparing to jump on board with the PSP. I'll probably wait until the rumored PSP Go releases because I'm not a big fan of UMD.

Anyways, getting to my point, I will likely download most of my games. Are many retail PSP games currently available on PSN (eg. Lumines II, Hot Shots Golf Open Tee 2, Wipeout Pulse, Scrabble, SOCOM, etc.)?

Yes.

I don't know where to ask this, really, but I don't want to open up a thread just to ask this one question.
what's the big difference between a 40GB and an 80GB PS3? I mean, they're both not BC in the PAL Region, so what's it good for?
I mean, except for the obvious downloading demos etc etc.

The only difference is the HDD capacity.

The Last Guy is getting a trophy patch

They're also going to be releasing some DLC levels.

Nice! Also, wow @

Hey, did you know that The Last Guy was the No.1 most popular original game at the PlayStation Store? Says so in the red in the above snap shot from the official site. The fine print at the bottom notes that this ranking is based off sales figures from between November 2006 through February 2009 and only includes original games -- that is, completely new games not including ports.

I wonder if it's talking about the Japan store's sales only. Either way that's a nice accomplishment.

Good to see older PSN games getting trophy patches. Don't know why publishers don't realize this is easy money for them due to all the trophy collectors out there.:lol

So... this Zen Pinball thing is kinda shit.
Its so easy to lose a ball it aint fun. 15 secs in a game I lose the 'save a ball' thing followed by actually losing a ball. Tesla is the only one that isnt a bitch.

One more thing, it appears the PSN cards are on clearence in Walmart.(YMMV) $20 cards are $17 and $50 cards are $40. Good deal if yours has this!!

You just need practice. I was the same, but eventually I learned how to play. Sometimes it's a good idea to just stop the ball with your fippers, since just hitting it randomly desperately hoping it'll hit something good will make things to a bit too fast.

Is there going to be a Monster Hunter Freedom Unite demo out this week? I saw an ad in the latest Play magazine saying something to the effect that you can download the demo on the store.
