What, you don't find FFVII just laying around all over the place? Whats the big deal? I opened my cereal box and the prize was a copy of FFVII. Pffft.

I don't eat cereal. How about cat food?

Wow, I just looked at eBay, and the prices are stupendous. 24 bucks for disc 3 is one of them, and they have full versions going for 60-70, and new for 200! Amazon is more realistic, with 50-60 for used, and over 100 for new, but I'd rather pay 20 and get a surefire way of it working, and being able to play it on my PSP (without being connected to the internet), and I can lose it five times!

No, but I did find a copy of Parappa in my cats Friskies bag this morning when I fed her.

I can still find some platinum UK versions of FF7, brand new.
But I want to play it on my PSP, not on my PS3.

Yes yes, see it seems to be europeans who are not having a problem finding FFVII so apparently that is where all the copies of the games went to.

It's not cheap though.
I remember seeing one for 40 € a few months ago, but now it's 40 € for a used copy.

If hope they release (at least) one Capcom PS1 game by week until there's nothing left (of what Capcom submitted).

Future Resident Evil games will be. They've already set the price point for the SFA games at $6 though, so if they go up with the price then they're going to get a lot of negative feedback.

I might pay the $10 for RE2 and 3, but 1? No. I own the Gamecube remake. I would have bought it at 5.99 too! God damn you, Capcom.

So is the store updating tomorrow then? Or today?

PlaystationLifestyle says it'll be updating daily throughout the show..but I guess that means starting tomorrow..(?) Has anyone said anything about what's due?

(I know UC2 beta starts the 3rd..Vidzone on the 4th for Europe..e3 trailers I suspect too..)

And hopefully some surprise demos. That'd be really nice. Ratchet ACIT anyone? :)

Are you playing on an HDTV? How does it look graphically does it age well at 1080p?

Not sotre related per se, but PSN related.

This article claims that Sony has backed off plans to launch a downloadable music service on PSN, perhaps preferring instead to work something out with third party providers. Says negotiations with labels on a downloadable music service have ended, and its head of label relations on the project has left.

http://www.paidcontent.org/entry/419-sony-not-pursing-music-downloads-for-its-playstation-network/

It now seems that Sony has decided it doesn’t want to resurrect the ghosts of Sony Connect, and will keep out of music downloads. That doesn’t mean it won’t ever go in that direction, and it could still be talking to third party music service like Pandora or iLike, but its direct talks with labels are over for now. Of course Sony now fully owns Sony Music Entertainment, so it would be crazy not to have some sort of music service on there. The company hasn’t responded to requests for comment.

If they're going to partner up with someone, it'd hopefully be someone who shares their philosophy on DRM. It seems very strange Sony would be backing down on this though..it's something Stringer has been banging on about and how they were going to be open with their DRM etc. (vs Apple), and banging on about very recently too. Bear in mind this isn't official, but something to chew over I guess..

damn :/ why late june?

UM...have you played the BETA? Wait as long as possible to get that game right I say. Even then, I expect alot of bitching when it's released unless there is a SIGNIFICANT upgrade to the BETA (even "phase 3" didn't help and might have made it even worse).

Creat Studios Announces Digger and Mushroom Wars for PSN

Digger Features:

* Dynamic action. Make your way through 60 levels of underground mazes where there is something behind every corner, be it a monster, a bonus or a bag of falling gold.
* Test your skills. There are 240 special challenges and the non-stop gameplay of Survival mode.
* Move up in the world. Advance your way through the game and become either an Archeologist or an Exterminator.
* Secret trophies. Collect all the trophies and figure out how to achieve the secret ones. Are you up for the challenge?
* Old school style. Vintage Mode allows you to play Digger in its old school glory: original mechanics and levels - even the original graphics and sounds!

Mushroom Wars is an all-ages, fast-paced, real time strategy (RTS) game that brings arcade skirmish gameplay to the forefront. With a quaint visual style featuring opposing tribes of mushroom armies, your battles take place in close-quarters maps using simple, straight-forward controls. Play short campaigns with Domination objectives where your goal is to take control of key strategic points, or play Conquest battles where the only way to win is to completely annihilate your opponent. Upgrade your bases to support larger armies, improve weaponry or act as defensive installations. Move your armies into position and hopefully win the day.

Coming in the summer.

Late June is way way too early for Fat Princess. The beta has been a complete mess. Probably not going to pick up the full release due to how broken an experience I've had with it.

Oh.

:(

Is Resident Evil Directors Cut the REAL "directors cut" with violent opening and Chris smoking a ciggie? or is it the (fake) DC that was released in 1996 that was still the same edited version?
