Because there are less classes the game is not automatically shit. Punisher looked awful in the trailer. What is wrong with you people?

Is it that big of a deal that people might actually want the game?

That was an awesome game. I remember my old lady getting that for me for valentine's day.
:lol :lol :lol

I want a decent Eu Store update this week. The past two updates were total meltdown so this week, they have a lot of US content to bring.

are we getting a new episode of Qore this week? It will be the first Thursday of the month after all.

If not, I KNOW we are getting PULSE this week as we didn't get it last week (or the week before?) but UGH I'd rather get Qore again and have it back on a normal schedule. Maybe we will get both. :)
Qore should be next week. The first full week in July.

Cruzader said:
I hope Qore is cheap next week. Like $15 for returning subscribers/$20 for new. Else im gonna be pissed.

I heard it will be $15 for the subscribers since the very first issue of the magazine. That is a absolute STEAL for all the content they give you.

Oh didn't know that. I don't have any spare money though. Hope it works out for you guys on PSN. Do you plan on releasing a demo?
demo for sure. let me know if you're still short on cash when the game comes out and i will try to hook you up with a promo code.

Oh... well then I'll definitely pick it up. I didn't know that the App store worked like that. I was surprised the game was only $.99 to begin with.
Thanks for the support! Disney (the publisher for iPhone Critter Crunch) sets the price. though everything is 99c on the app store nowadays anyways :(

Any news on Motorstorm PR dlc? I noticed a 600meg patch is available that I didn't get prompted to download yesterday.
The update contains improvements and amendments to the game, and fixes for several issues reported by players on the MotorStorm forum.

> Microbadges – Secret Microbadges unlocked.
The hidden Microbadges are no longer a mystery: check them out from the Microbadges screen in your Garage.

> PlayStation Home – ‘Game Launching’ now available.
Online races can be launched from PlayStation Home.

> Audio Settings – Preference order is now DTS followed by AC3.
DTS audio settings are automatically configured if available.

> Audio Settings – Vehicle horn volume control added.
Volume of vehicle horns can now be adjusted using a dedicated sliding scale.

> Garage – Competition Winners Gallery added.
A Gallery for photo competition winners can be viewed from your Garage.

> Speed Events – Gate visibility improved.
Not only are the next two gates now visible (instead of only the next one), the colour of the flares at each gate have changed to make the Speed Events a little easier: orange smoke on the left and yellow smoke on the right.

> Speed Events – Gate ‘passed’ issue fixed.
When playing in standard definition, the issue with some gates not registering as ‘passed’ has been fixed.

> Split-screen – 4-player Split-screen lock-up fixed.
A potential lock-up situation, occasionally caused by leaving a 4-player split-screen race, has been fixed.

> Online Racing – “Never-ending (zero lap) races” fixed.
Races will no longer begin with (and remain infinitely at) zero laps; a problem which affected various online races since Update 1.02.

> Online Racing – All 12 positions displayed in race results.
Since Update 1.02, only the top 8 positions were displayed at the end of a race. This is fixed and all 12 results are displayed at the end of the race.

> Online Rankings – Rank cap increased.
In order to alleviate the congestion at the top of the Leaderboard the rank cap has been increased.

> Online Leaderboards – Player’s stats added.
You can now view any player’s stats from any of the Leaderboards in the game, and compare them with your own.

> Online Matchmaking – “Searching for Matchmaking” screen fixed.
The “Searching for Matchmaking” message no longer overlaps, as it did in certain languages.

> Soundtrack – Track previews added.
Highlighting a track on the playlist (from the Soundtrack screen in the Options menu) will play the track.

> Soundtrack – Track details added to Pause Screen.
The artist and song title of the track being played are displayed on the Pause Screen.

Awesome, thanks man. The least I can do is continue to tell everyone to buy your great game. :D

That's what he is expecting. You will tell your friends so they will buy it so despite losing your sale he gains +5 sales from all your friends. It's a standard business game move.

Hey I will gladly do that because the game is really good.

me too, have been telling my friends about your game. my buddy recently got an iphone and made him to buy it lol.

Yup - I'm one of the guys that founded the company :)

Even if you own the iPhone version, consider picking up the PSN version for multiplayer (versus AND coop). it's good times... and it wont be pricey.

That and Disney gets most of the piddly 0.99c via iPhone whereas you're actually supporting Capy via buying the PSN since Sony was kind enough to let us self-publish.

But enough ranting...

Thanks... showed that to the artists and they got a +10 happiness modifier.

Y'know, I really think it's devs like yourself who have a big impact on how their games are received by rationally promoting in threads like these. I think I'll be picking it up now for sure. Keep it up.

That's pretty awesome of you, thanks.

Hope to have some more info, news, announcements, etc about Critter Crunch on PSN sometime next week :)

I definitely will keep it up - thanks! I was on GAF before i had a game to promote, so it's pretty easy for me to hang out here and talk about our games.

We're a small-ish studio started by a bunch of guys who just wanted to make cool games, and when the opportunity arose to make a PlayStation Network game (thanks Sony) we worked our asses off to make Critter Crunch PSN as full of love and awesome as we can. I hope people give it a shot (especially since it wont be pricey WINK WINK)

Excellent. I gotta say, I don't typically go for fast-paced arcade puzzlers like this any more (I don't like to use my brain much) but the art I've seen in the images and trailer have enamored me to the point of no return.

Hoping for more news on the online co-op next week.

Glad you like it - there was a little info about co-op in the interview I did with the playstation blog here: http://blog.us.playstation.com/2009/06/04/critter-crunch-e32009-qa/

But there's definitely a lot more to tell about co-op... and versus... and barfing... and so on...

Oh I have not seen the trailer yet only the screenshots. Even in motion it looks great. Some really cute animations there. :lol

And here we go...

Coming up first is Capcom Classics Collection: Remixed, available tomorrow. The game is a collection of arcade classics from gaming’s glorious past. Pay homage to the best of the arcades, like Final Fight, Bionic Commando, Street Fighter, and Magic Sword. Prove your old-school dominance with twenty full arcade titles. Check out the full list of included games here.

Later this summer, look forward to Fate/Unlimited Codes. Capcom’s fighting game masters have brought one of Japan’s most popular animes exclusively to the PSN, ready for the new PSPgo. High-flying combos and fast-paced versus action show off the game’s gorgeous 3D graphics, and it’s a fighting-game experience you can’t get anywhere else.

Next, keep your eyes out for more gems from Capcom, being brought directly to the PSN. Check out the full list below, including PSone and UMD Legacy titles, and come back often for more info on individual release timing.

Capcom Classics Collection Remixed (UMD Legacy)

Mega Man Powered Up (UMD Legacy)

Dino Crisis (PlayStation Legacy)

Power Stone Collection (UMD Legacy)

Mega Man Maverick Hunter X (UMD Legacy)

Resident Evil 2 (PlayStation Legacy)

Darkstalkers (UMD Legacy)

Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max (UMD Legacy)

Capgod!

They have cemented themselves as the de facto third-party developer this generation. Taking on PS360 multi-plat development, Taking PSN/XBLM by storm, and even the Wii with MH3. Frickin Capcom.

I'm so buying Mega Man Maverick Hunter X, Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3, and Dino Crisis.

I'll hand it to Capcom for stepping up and doing it right. Unfortuantely, I own all the PSOne games they are going to release, and unless the PSP releases are dirt cheap, I'll probably skip them. Almost all of the PSP release can be found for $15 or less in the clearance section of any Target.
