From what I've played of both, Pure isn't nearly as good as MotorStorm 1.

MS2 doubles the tracks, has 16 player online, and has much better core gameplay.

Oh, I didn't think it was sold outside of the Madden 09 collectors edition. I'd like to see those stand alone sell numbers :lol I tried it out but just couldn't get into it. The framerate and menus don't help either. If this stuff was all smooth and responsive then it would be a good product. Or rather, I would have kept at it until I "got it".

I thought it was releasing WITH Qore, not a week later. It was like that for Naruto so I kinda assumed it.

IIRC the download opens up on the eleventh. You then have a ticket to download it for 30 days.

No, Naruto was right away, this "is" different in fact.

Presumably it'll open the download link at a certain time, just like the Qore Episode 1 download link will activate in due time for the Socom beta.

Either way, who knows what's going on behind the scenes. I bet the Motorstorm demo in Qore, and the one released later will be one and the same. Back when people were complaining that we may lose demos with the introduction of Qore, I fear this may be a prime example. I'd love to get in on that demo, but I also would not want it to cost anything .

Edit: I meant download. The window to download MS2 will last for 30 days according to what I read (it'll go onto the PS Store by then anyways). Naruto was dl and play for an unlimited amount of time as mentioned above.

No, try setting your ps3 to DMZ on your router. Also wired is faster if you don't mind the long ethernet cable.

Well Google 'ps3 slow wifi' it may not be widespread but there are many other people with the same problem as me where WiFi is slow but ethernet isn't.

Wow... Pure was surprisingly a great demo! I can see alot of Motorstorm in it (and i loved the first Motorstorm) but this is looking better than what I've seen from Motorstorm 2. The game makes sure there is no sticky situation and always puts you in action. Tricks for boost is fun but it takes away the focus from boosting and it becomes more of a trick element. The promise of thousands of variation of vehicle is... promising!

I am SO glad they put out a trailer for The Fall. It's a beautiful film, and Blu-Ray is going to make it look marvelous.

Don't buy the Rock Band pack, it's broken. MC Frontalot is definitely busted and won't load. I had no problem with Skullcrusher Mountain but others have had problems with the whole pack. Harmonix is working on it and will let us know soon when it gets fixed.

I bummed Quore off of someone who has yearly subscription, and I'm happy to say that it features the best quality LBP videos I've ever seen. I's literally like having a game running in front of you, and it looks absolutely gorgeous. So much so that the Alex and Veronica that get into the shot after the video, look kinda pixelated and low-res in comparison! :lol

It also has very nicely LBP themed interface. Motorstorm 2 feature is pretty useless, and Bioshock feature again looks great. But LBP videos really steal the deal. They looked so damn good.

Your TV must be very forgiving.

Does anyone know what bitrate and codec Qore uses? This was my first Qore and I'm shocked at the quality of the encode. At a little over 1gig for 30 minutes of video at 720p I expected better quality than what I saw.

Yeah this weeks QORE was the best yet by far. LPB, MS2, Bioshock and PoP is a goddamn great list for previews and the coming soon for Blu-Ray and games are awesome additions. I hope they keep improving so I can keep paying them 3$ i skipped last months crappy episode.
