I saw it in the store as far as I can recall (don't have access to the PS3 right now). :S

SolidusDave said:uhm... the 2GB EyePet Move Upgrade is not a patch or DLC, it's an actual game launcher.
Apparently it imports your stuff from EyePet, but I can't test it because you need the Move controller. I wonder if I'll still need the disc...
V_Ben said:give it a try and report back. that would be pretty crazy.
SolidusDave said:ah, you will still need the disc:
"Please insert the EyePet disc, or press circle to start a time-limited demo"
how odd though Oo
it's because of the DMC5 trailer.snap0212 said:Seems like all those Demo were just too much for Sony. "400 Bad Request" @ http://blog.eu.playstation.com/
V_Ben said:wow, that is pretty odd. I wonder if they'll let people pay to unlock the game if they don't have the disc at a later date...
I bitched about this to them on the PS3 Blog not to long ago. I was rather adamant. I wonder if that had anything to do with it?TheSeks said:Suikoden. Was that (price-drop, I mean) in the store last update? It's on sale for $2.99. It's part of the "PSX 15th anni" thing.
Going to bite on that if it's up after this update today. If it isn't, I'm going to kick myself in the ass, but really AFAIK they didn't advertise this and I just found it today. :|

Arc the Lad comes to PSN in September

Week #2

Come on Vic, make it happen like you said it would!
They're pretty shitty anyway. Charging 1.99 for them is ridiculous.boingball said:Note
PS3 Themes
SPACE INVADERS INFINITY GENE XMB Theme 1 (free)
File size: 4.36 MB
SPACE INVADERS INFINITY GENE XMB Theme 2 (free)
File size: 1.70 MB
SPACE INVADERS INFINITY GENE XMB Theme 3 (free)
File size: 2.19 MB
According to Mike Kibby from the EU PSN Store:
"Ive just had contact with the team, and those themes should have been billable in the US too, so the SCEE pricing I can confirm is indeed correct."
So get them while they are still free.
too late.boingball said:So get them while they are still free.

SCEA screwed up. Rumbled by the SCEE blog comments where Mike Kebby confirmed that they should have been chargeable in the first place on the US store.Erdrick said:What the... I picked them up last night for free and now I see they are $1.99 each? Was this some kind of sale or something or was it an error on Sony's part? Either way, I'm glad I got these for free.
Damn. That would take me at least two days of non-stop downloading. :lolSolidusDave said:My PS3 just finished all the downloads, almost 19 GB just for all the demos (and EyePet) from the US+PAL stores of this week :lol
Sony announced the 3D photo management program "PlayMemories" for PS3. It will be available on September and free for download. People could use HDMI cable to link to 3D HDTV and appreciate the MPF 3D photo on full HD 1080p view.
PlayMemories is using the high efficiency PS3 cell processor. People can do quick search, manage, view the 3D MPF (Multi Picture File Format) photography from 3D digital cameras. The user interface will be 3D too.
The 3D digital cameras which Sony supports right now include the CyberShot serious "DSC-TX9", "DSC-WX5", and α series of NEX models like "NEX-5" and "NEX-3" (need firmware update).
PS3 PlayMemories will be release in late September for free but it requires PS3 system firmware 3.40 or higher.

Does the text scrolling at the bottom of Space Invaders look kind of twitchy to anyone else? It's annoying, if that's intentional.
Yeah, some don't have English names but if you click on them you can see the details, one is Black Ops for example.ULTROS! said:Some trailers are up in the JPN PSN under TGS such as Asura's Wrath, FFXIV, Danbol Senki, Yakuza of the End, MGS: Rising, etc.
Psykotik said:there a free app on the singapore PSN store called PlayMemories (probably on the HK store too i think)
you can view 3D photos with it (3DTV needed)
it's pretty sweet (for those with 3DTVs like me)
there are 9 3D photos and one multiangle photo included in the app
you can also view your own 2D photos in the app (it doesnt upconvert them to 3D however, just normal 2D)

Off-topic, but can you use HK cards on JP accounts (or vice versa)? I was thinking about getting Flight Control HD at launch but it's not out in JP yet.SolidusDave said:But what's the point? I thought as part of ToS you can't make accounts for countries you do not reside in? Thats why they did this right?SolidusDave said:But what's the point? I guess it's a bit cheaper than buying JP PSN cards online, but on the other hand you get full access to all the JP PSone games.
levious said:if you're playing only on PS3, then yeah, little point. But having to switch accounts is a pain on the PSP.
