We don't know. There has been no announcement, Koji-Pro had considered it, and they put it on the Japanese store. Possibly, possibly not.

It's not a problem with the game itself. I can't download any thing at the moment and the store is acting wonky.

I can't even download the 102kb unlock for the new hot shots costumes without an error.

Also I'm down for AoB multi later if anyone wants to try.

Prince of Persia needs a demo. It doesn't appear to have any hype.

I downloaded all LBP costumes without incident.

I would call Sony, but their customer service doesn't actually do anything.

I don't think anyone's gotten beta invites from that yet anyway (I sure haven't!).

Isn't Spelunker HD supposed to come out soon, I thought it was 11.13.08 which was yesterday. I want that game.

I'm sorry but they even sent out an email for this and several sites reported that it was only for annual subscribers before Oct 30th or something.
 
The Pumpkin LBP costume isn't on the store anymore if you missed it. Also there was some sort of Tom Clancy's Endwar free DLC last week that isn't on the store anymore either. And the Neverland Card Battles Demo is taking forever to download for some reason.
 
That's a relief. I thought I was the only one having problems with Age of Booty. The whole store is fucked. In 10 mins I have only donwloaded 62 % of a 1 meg file lol.

I'm adding all the free costumes to my download list just in case I ever pick the game up later.

Has anyone been able to download the new HSG DLC? Purchased just fine, but I get a weird error when trying to download. The LBP DLC that I purchased as part of the same transaction downloaded and installed without a hitch.

I've tried from the store, and from the Account Management section of the XMB. Same error.

Frustrated? Sorry, but not long now.



Heres a rough overview of the coming weeks:

1. The version 1.0 Patch Notes will be published in the closed beta forum so they know what to expect and to help plan testing.
2. A couple of days later Version 1.0 will be released into the Closed beta. That will not happen this week.
3. SCEE will be inviting a large number of extra testers into the closed beta to load test and that process will start within a day or so of v1.0 going live. We wont invite them all straight away, we'll ramp it up over a a period of time. We will be inviting non-English speaking testers for the first time. Languages covered will be English, French, Italian, German and Spanish. Please remember these are languages, not countries, so more than the immediately obvious countries will be included to a degree. The lists have been chosen already, dont try changing your language to get included!
4. Once we start inviting people in to the Closed Beta the public SCEE Home forums will become the Home beta test forums.
5. The date of Open Beta start will be announced in advance
6. Open Beta starts and that will be just as it implies, Open to all





Theres more detail that I'll bring to you about bug reporting, forum changes etc closer to the time.



Finally, Home Open Beta is the start of a long journey, not the end of one. I know I've said this a lot recently but I see many of you are thinking of Home Open Beta like a game release in that you're expecting the final version to be launched with just some patches and maybe some DLC to come afterwards. Home Beta is a service that will grow from the foundation of v1.0 over the coming months and years so thinking of it as a start rather than a finish will help you understand where its going and what its all about. We all appreciate you've been waiting a long time to be a part of this journey and we hope you enjoy it once your onboard with us.

Ah, so it's not an isolated incident. I get a weird error code with 8s and1s and who knows what else. I didn't right it down.

I think it's a "theme" thing. If I want to play the ice level, I might prefer the penguin suit, or something. I dunno.

I do, and I'm disappointed so far. If you have the Abusement Park, you know how packed that level is...so much to do, it flows really well, tons of secrets and things to blow up, and just plain awesome. Movie Studio seems very barren...lots of spots of nothing, not much in way of exploring, and too big. I haven't tried multiplayer and it has bowling, so that could save it. But so far, meh, not feeling it.
 
I'm starting to think the QORE Home Beta invite was just a play on words. They meant you would get the invite, with everyone else when it goes open beta.

It's a lot more like the city environment. It's not an enclosed area and there are no perpetual motion machines to help extend your runs. But I'm digging it; it just puts more emphasis on planning your lines.

Unlocking the first alternate arrangement was really finicky and kind of tedious, but the second unlocks quickly and they're both pretty awesome. The UFO tractor beams are a great mechanic. Fun With Explosives is back, and the new Cratetastic mode is sort of like Spank The Monkey but you're competing for score instead of time. You lose points for relaunches and for exceeding your allotted number of ooches.

Also The Hoff is pretty funny.

Shouldn't have bought PoP Classic two days ago... It's a pretty cool game but there seems to be no BGM?

And I thought there was a demo planned for Age of Booty?

The only Resident Evil related thing I see is RE5.

The only PS1 game I see is SFA.

EDIT: Ah, Canada store. Shit, what the fuck?
 
Yeah I just made an account, and sure enough, it's a PSP game. I even read the description. Says it requires a PSP.

No sign that Capcom is bringing this game stateside for the PS3. :(

It's not the first time. Originally, all of the PS1 games that were put on the store were PSP only until Sony started updating them to play on PS3 as well.

Put some time into it, and....its good!

You control a pirate ship which can be upgraded using various resources. You gain resources by picking up crates of goodies or by capturing towns (which gets you resources on a timer). Stage objectives seem to revolve around capturing lots of towns within a time limit.
