Serious question. Is £39.99 for Dragon Age a good deal?

It's sad that we live in a world now where this is even a question that can be asked. Game prices have just spiralled up this generation.

Between Dynasty Warriors 8 XLCE and Warriors Orochi 3U, which of the two is the one to get? Wanted to try one of these for a while now.

Orochi has way more content but the characters are based on Dynasty Warriors 7 and Samurai Warriors 3, so not all current characters are there and the game will feel dated (but really on vets may notice that)
Dynasty is based on Chinese history while Orochi is a mash up of Chinese and Japanese with the Demon Orochi and time manipulation involved.

It is good. PS4 ver. has some screen tearing issues though.

So so many games I am tempted to grab, but at the same time I am super conscious of not wanting my PS4/Vita backlog to just build up with piles of games I never play so I'll probably hold off on most of this sale.

Ys: Memories of Celceta and TOmb Raider DE are awful tempting though.

Did some reading on that but I don't think I'm too convinced reading some of the impressions, probably leaving that one out.

It's like Yakuza mixed with Hokuto no Ken but set in akiba and you get to strip dudes and gals.

For reference...Dark Souls was to hard for me. Had to stop at Dragon Slayer Ornstein & Executioner Smough. I could not beat them.

Im halfway into Dark Souls 2 on my own. I had to coop to finish the game.

I've played a little on a friends PS4, but from what I did play, I found it to be easier than Dark Souls 2, it was still pretty challenging.

If you're a Souls fan, you'll probably like Fallen.

Yeah, i can't in good conscience recommend the Vita without warning them about memory card prices and their sizes, if they buy it despite of that fair enough, but it is a nasty disclaimer that makes it feel like I'm telling people not to buy it.

No no, it doesn't have co-op in game, sadly, that'd indeed be amazing. I meant it more figuratively. It's still a great game to play together, as you'll have to thoroughly investigate crime scenes, interview witnesses and suspects, work out motifs and then bit by bit deduct what really happened. I had a great time with my girlfriend, though I was the one playing while she was the attentive observer and we both then discussed who we thought did it and how.

That's still great for us, thank you for the idea mate.

It's extremely tempting to get Dragon Age, but I'm not sure yet.

They say it's a mix of the Origins gameplay AND Dragon Age 2.

As much as I loved the Origins gameplay (as it was tactical), and hated part 2, I'm not sure if it's worth another chance.

The last few RPG's I've played were all action-based combat, which spoiled me a lot and makes tactical gameplay "slow" for me. Kinda want that action in Dragon Age :S

Haven't seen anything of it so I really don't know.

How are Sleeping Dogs, Tomb Raider and Thief on ps4 these days?

Tomb Raider looks and runs great on the PS4. In my opinion the best version of the game.
Just backup your save files regularly because the game has issues with corrupt save files that unfortunately were never patched. I think especially if you fast travel to/from the shipwreck beach can cause corruption and should be avoided. At least that's what I read and avoided and didn't have any problems with my save files.

I find it hard to see that as a major factor in market adoption when the vast majority of people buy phones and tablets with something far worse than proprietary memory cards: proprietary, embedded and non-replaceable memory storage.

Avoid Thief at all costs, terrible game.

Sleepy Dawgs is good, but the port is a shambles from what I've read. Although you could give it a shot, the core gameplay was great last gen and the fighting engine is pretty great too.

Tomb Raider is exceptional, really well done port and the game itself is fantastic too.
