At what time does the EU store updates ?
Very different games. While the only progression in Spelunky is in your own skill level, Rogue Legacy basically requires you to find new upgrades and equipment, as well as money to buy those and level ups for your characters until you're strong enough to beat a boss. RL can seem more grindy because of that. Yes it is possible to beat RL without any upgrades and they aren't strictly needed, but the game was obviously designed with them in mind. How is Rogue Legacy compared to Spelunky? Thanks.

Randomness and luck also play a smaller role in RL since you can overcome anything with strong enough equipment and high enough levels, while in Spelunky success often depends on your item luck.
It comes down to what you enjoy in a game. I think Spelunky is superior to RL in every way, but people who don't like the idea of real permadeath and prefer light RPG elements might disagree.
Maybe you'll like Rougue Legacy more then, but it's hard to say. It still has randomly generated levels that change every time you die, but you get to keep money and equipment you found in a run. Thanks for your answer.
I think I've not "undertood" Spelunky yet. You all say it is wonderful but I don't get the point. Maybe is the random generation philosophy that I'm not able to enjoy yet.
Has this game the classic scheme of defined levels? Such as Ghouls 'n Ghosts?
For those curious - Hype Machine is streaming the entire soundtrack to Hohokum here:

Just started listening to this now, but so far so good.
Game says 41:05 played when beaten. This does not seem right, especially since I've only had my Vita and the game with me for about 48 hours beforehand. I played quite a bit (felt like 15-20 hours), minimizing the game in standby when not playing. Does the time played continue during Vita standby? I am testing this out now, but thought I would ask. It seems 41 hours is approximately how long I had the game on for, including standby. If so, this would be the first game (Vital or 3DS) that does this.
So does Rogue Legacy have any sort of endgame or win state? The gameplay looks like fun, but if it's just an endless spiral I'm not sure if I'm up for it...
I am totally, totally in love with Rogue Legacy. I'm not sure whether I love it as much as I love Spelunky. But Rogue Legacy is fantastic, and it could wind up being the 'tiny' game I spend the most time with this year. Just totally awesome.
I'm really stuck on whether to pre-order any of the other three games (at 20% off). I've never heard of them. I'd like to make use of the sale price and the free store credit, but only if I'm buying something that I'm really going to play and enjoy. Anyone else in a similar boat? On the fence?
Y's Hohokum 3gags big?!Fired up the PS4 this morning and it said "Hohokum Added to Downloads" and before I could yell "Awww yisssss!" it followed up with "Hohokum cannot download"![]()
I'm sure it was all in error but it served as a reminder that this game comes out on Tuesday. I can't wait! I've been listening to the OST at work for the past week and have been looking at some of the dev interview videos, art-of, etc... This was one of the titles that I picked up my PS4 for and I finally get to play it in two days. Fucking word.

And after that is Counterspy. Which I don't intend on buying but some good reviews and impressions could change my mind. Then the week after is iF:FL, then after that is Velocity 2X and the PS+ games, then after us Destiny and what I would presume would be some indie games I've been looking forward to that's don't have a release date.
I think there must be something wrong with the clock as I got the 20 hours trophy at a time when it would have been physically impossible for me to log that many hours.
Why is there no Hohokum OT?
Why is there no Hohokum OT?
You know, I had very little hype for the game up until this past E3 where I started to here a number of impressions from people (e.g. Gerstmann) that had played the previous build and then the E3 2014 build and came out of the latest build really impressed and excited for the release. I already knew RL, The Swapper, and Hohokum were titles that I wanted, but the latest round of positive impressions surrounding Counterspy were enough to push me towards purchase.
Has anybody played counterspy? Or have any real impressions?
It's out?

Can we talk about how awesome this promotion has been? All three games so far have been home-runs and getting PS+ discounts and the $10 credit back has been killer. Sure the prices have been high to start with, but basically paying $45 some odd bucks and getting $10 back has been more than worth it for the three games we've already gotten, even if Counterspy flops.

When do we receive the credit for these purchases?
