So the quality will disappoint?

Not happening.
So be disappointed now instead of later.
...
I think 900K cameras sold during the first six months of PS4 release. I would be very surprised if there weren't an unbundled PSVR option.
Is it finally time? I sure hope so! My PSVR predictions:
$299 headset only
Lol right! Told my fiancé psvr release date and price march 15th, she goes "o cool...*thinks about it..damn thats a day after your birthday..im pre ordering this fr you arent I" lolWell, there's my 50th birthday present sorted for the 16th March!
No socks this year kids, dad needs psvr!
Do you have any evidence to suggest that No Man's Sky won't support PSVR, because there's plenty of evidence to suggest it will?

There have been rumors that No Man's Sky had performance issues on the PS4. That's a killer for VR which has very tight tolerances for performance. If the game does offer VR support it will be in a limited separate mode. My guess is that you'd be able to view in VR specific locations that you have previously visited from a fixed spot.
Porn with VR is going to change peoples lives.

When questioned about No Man's Sky supporting VR especially as launch title, this was said by Jim Ryan;Studio founder Sean Murray noted that he didnt know what we was allowed to say in terms of possible VR support in a recent interview with Edge. I dont know what Im allowed to say, he stated. Its something were thinking about. Morpheus, Oculus Theres nothing more cool and sci-fi than VR and a big procedural universe. I think that, for the people who want to just explore, and even for the space combat and things like that, it would be a good fit. Lets put it that way.
SCE Europe President and CEO suggested as much in a recent Paris Games Week interview with Eurogamer. Talking about No Mans Skys newly-announced June 2016 launch window, the site noted that it could sit alongside the launch of the device itself. To this, Ryan simply replied: Well, your assumption is an interesting one. When pushed for further comment, Ryan remained tight-lipped, stating: Youre not going to get anywhere with that one Im afraid.
They announced this at gdc didn't they? Its definitely a release date and price here at the very least price. When then...E3? Kinda late in the game IMO...
interested in how this does, you can't compare it to kinect as that was more casual oriented and this is more for the core. will the core pick up a $300/400/500 dollar machine to play a handful of games at launch?
I think they'd sooner sell the vanilla sku for $329.99 with a camera or just eat those costs before having their most affordable VR package not come with all the hardware needed for basic functionality. They're targeting the Fallon audience with thing and won't risk the shitstorm of angry costumers who can't use the ~$300 device they just bought.

Sony have indicated they're in agreement with market research (IIRC it was done by IHS) that suggests the total console/PC HMD market to be about 2-3mn units in the first twelve months, so no-one is predicting especially huge sales out of the gate.

PSVR will likely have cheap wired earphones packed.I know headphones are needed for psvr and vive, but aren't they included with OR?
that sounds much better the Rifts 1 million. I'm all for the VR future and AR but that looks like its currently on pause. IMO these are the future not more Ps.
edit: I see this is for all VR machines... ehh.. I guess in 5 years.
