How's the eshop holding up? Hopefully Nintendo fixed the infrastructure by now.

Hardly, the process of moving Pokémon from Gen V-VI still requires constant logging in and out of NNID. The steps required simply to download transporter are a mess.

1)Log into 3DS eShop, download Bank
2)Log into Bank, choose to download Transporter
3)Log back into eShop, download transporter
4)Log into transporter, choose to transport box 1.
5)Log into Bank, move transported Pokémon into X/Y or Bank Proper.
6) start Gen V game, move Pokémon into box 1
Repeat steps 4-6 until you pluck out your own eyes in frustration.

Cool, will probably start new games this weekend to make sure I get all the starters. Unfortunately the most recent non X/Y game I have is not Black/Black2/White/White2 so I guess I'm out of luck in that regards.

Yeah most places have upped thier used prices for those too to commenorate (well demand has gone up and supply is finite at this point)

$5 for a year. Useful if you breed a LOT of Pokemon and want to having separate playthrough without losing your mons.

You can use a 30 day free trial at any time. No need to use a card or money from your eShop wallet.
After that, it's $5/year.

Official FAQ clearly mentions you can't evolve Pokémon via Pokémon Bank, as you don't exactly trade them. You'll have to find an online friend to help you

how do I go about receiveing the celebi?

Deposit something in the Bank box, start X or Y, go to Pokemon Link to get your 100 PokeMiles or 10 BP, start up the bank again, and you'll get the Celebi when you start it up and go back to the bank boxes. Start X/Y again and claim it from Pokemon Link afterwards. You can't soft reset for a specific nature, though.
