Verge is completely worthless when it comes to reviews. Zero indepth test, 99.9% personal use case opinion.

Built-in battery on the controller is the main thing I'd change about PS4. I loved using Eneloops on 360 and continue to do so on PC.

Yeah, load times for me in Killzone have been super speedy. They haven't been that great in NBA 2k14 though for me.

Holy shit. I was actually planning to plug in my set top cable box into my Xbox One, but now it looks like that's a bust. Fuck me, it looks like the only thing I'll be using it for for the foreseeable future is goddamn DR3 and some KI. (Oh, and I'm going to rent Forza :P)

Thank God I bought a PS4, too.
 
Wow, these are the people reviewing games there? They're seriously obnoxious. Makes it easier than ever to ignore what they say.
 
If this was more zoo and less tycoon I could be into this. Like, if you could ride animals, create weird crossbreeds, instigate civil war and whatnot. Viva B.C, make this game Microsoft.
 
Zoo Tycoon looks pretty great--will have to snap to PS4 during the 30 minute load times, though. If I want my blacks crushed and halos everywhere, that is.
 
i feel like kinectimals 2 zoo tycoon should've been a free pack-in

mostly because I want to play it, but I don't think it's worth paying for
 
Zoo Tycoon looks adorable! I can see this being very popular with a lot of people. Looks like a pretty good sim too under its cute exterior, though I can't tell how deep or challenging it gets from the livestream.

How so, the game is open world and has no loading when starting events or travelling from place to place. There's barely a pause in switching between cops and racers, there's literally one load screen to join a lobby for the all drive game world.

Edit: On topic, Zoo Tycoon looks really neat. I want to play it someday!

From all I've seen, yes. Say what you want about PS4's lock down certain features of games while installing, but it's much better than waiting for 50% of the game to be installed first.

Maybe it's my age as I was a young teen when KI first released, but it was a bit cringe worthy for me that they didn't seem all that familiar with the original. It may not hold up all that well, but at the time the incredible visuals and massive combos made a huge impression on me. They just didn't know enough about the game to really show anything too interesting.

The middle guy seems pretty normal, Chao reacted to Zoo Tycoon pretty much the way anyone who loves cute baby animals to react, so how much you like her probably depends on how much you can deal with a woman ooooing and awwwing over cute baby animals. I thought it was fun to see someone react with pure joy to a video game, and she brings some style with kick ass Mass Effect pants. Plante(sp?) seemed to need some Ritalin for awhile, but seems to have chilled out a bit, lol.

Really though, it's just 3 people hanging out playing games they may or may not be all that familiar with, and talking about it. They take some occasional user questions too. Pretty much what you would expect, I guess. Not an amazing guided tour of anything with in depth impressions from what I saw, but nothing for people to be angry over.

My stream died, but they were starting in on a golf game before I lost it.
