From what I played, the "hacking" is merely dragging and dropping different nodes so a key can reach a slot. At least that's what it's like at the start. Knowing this game, it might get more advanced, but I doubt you'll need to type any code

Aa, that sounds good. Thank you for the information!

...Eh. I got through the game, and I don't feel like it's anything special. It did surprise me a few times, but... eh. I'm guessing you need to keep playing after the ending to get all the tickets, but I'm not sure if I can be bothered.

What's the "mature content" of the game like? Is it just dark themes or...?

There's no cursing or sex or really any violence. If you can handle the above screenshots about a devil possessed arcade machine, you're good to go.

Thanks to this thread, just picked it up and blazed through. Would've made my top ten for last year....or maybe this year.

Such a -clever- game.

Besides Frog Fractions and Shower With Your Dad Simulator 2015, are there any other games in this style? I saw someone link Icarus Proudbottom Teaches Typing, which looks like another game like these ones.

I suppose Sonic Dreams Collection kind of? Anyone remember that terrifying thing? :P

Shower With Your Dad Simulator? Wait, it's actually a secret-game-in-a-game?

Okay, great. Thanks for the info!

Yeah, the game has some cool moments, but I just completed my first playthrough and I dunno if I'm missing something or if that is it. By the nature of the game, I assume there is some crazy metanarrative I'm missing. That, or I just didn't get hooked at the end :T

Watched the Giant Bomb crew play this earlier today and I dove in immediately. Feels so much like a Frog Fractions type of game and I couldn't be in love with it more!

It was originally a Ludum Dare game jam entry. This is the expanded version

ah, this explains it.

anyway, for anyone that cares this is apparently coming to GOG.com because they have a button on the website for it? I guess next week. Humble Bundle version is also available.

Interesting, since there's a part of the game that "requires" Steam. Wonder how they'll replace that.

The Humble Bundle version is also available and is DRM free.

The feature you are talking about is still in the DRM free version but I am not sure what the difference is.

Anyone have a guess at how long this game is?

My run was under 2 hours.

...Eh. I got through the game, and I don't feel like it's anything special. It did surprise me a few times, but... eh. I'm guessing you need to keep playing after the ending to get all the tickets, but I'm not sure if I can be bothered.

I mostly agree.

This doesn't necessarily deserve to be spoilered, but
too much of the "plot" and meta comments felt un-earned and trite.
.

The game would be better of the game-in-a-game were better. It is just never interesting, no matter how much they change it.

yeah it was ridiculous I was surprised you could pull a steam name from your friends list

I'm pretty sure it picks the first person alphabetically. Which actually made me confused, since that person on my friends list messages me a lot.

It doesn't. It picked someone named Shapeshifter on my friend list (which is like the perfect name to choose

I just uninstalled it.

Like it asked me to; maybe I'll download it again and search for the remaining tickets.

Link is unhidden so don't click if you haven't finished or don't want to be spoiled, because spoilers.

How do I get past this? I've managed to solve every other puzzle, but I'm tired of trying to figure it out.

Beat it

Unfortunately the best part of the game (the steam messaging) was spoiled in the OP in this thread. So... the experience wasn't that great... felt like I didn't get the pay off most people did
