I just find it amazing that there is a hit singing show that only exists for its judges (god knows its not for the contestants) and she STILL can't sell. I mean.....come on.

JLo went on Idol and managed to get a huge hit almost immediately.

I can't argue for Xtina not milking The Voice for all it's worth to promote. But after tuning in to X Factor these last few episodes, I still have to say that I prefer The Voice's format. The talent is better overall and the judges have really cultivated a chemistry together that makes them genuinely interesting to watch.

Not really. His single is the #1 selling lead single from an Idol contestant ever I believe. #2 is A Moment Like this from Kelly (which was a hot 100 #1),

Same. American Idol is the only show that will actually produce a star, but I don't think they care anymore. What bothers me is that it's all about the feud between Mariah and Nicki, and there's no talk about them finding an amazing singer that has gone undiscovered until now. I want to be wowed by someone from week to week, and get goosebumps. I doubt that's going to happen again, though.

I liked that, and it is EXACTLY the type of performance I want Xtina to give this year.

I love that my queen tries to give us a little of everything, but often it prevents her from putting her all into her vocal performance (and just gives the pressedt ammunition).

I think Xtina needs to really focus on showcasing her pipes. Squeeze her ass into one of RuPaul's leftover GOWNS, stand at that mic and focus on singing while dancers/fireworks/the band twerk around ha.
