The countdown is over at Tuesday at 9:00 PM EST or Wed 2:00 GMT if it's the 120 hour one, and the 200 hour one is 5:00 AM EST Friday or 10:00 GMT the same day.

It's an announcement, nowhere does it say its coming soon.

Also MGS4 was announced a year after MGS3 but you see it still took awhile. MGS5 (if its coming) won't nearly take as long as the original. The team already has the engine running obviously and they aren't newbies using PS3 hardware now.
