i'm curious as to how you arrived at that conclusion.these are nice shoes, but 80 bucks for those is fucking outrageous. Those should be 50 tops.
This thread makes me wish I had regular sized feet.
Luckily though it made me look through NB again and they have the Minimus 2 in wide widths finally.
There are way too many amendments, exceptions, and specific cases for me to list the entire articles of manhood.

Nike Free Flyknit +
Lightest and more comfortable sneaker I've ever worn.
I came to post this too. Best shoe ever, almost feels like you aren't wearing shoes at all.

Most comfy shoes ever.
Been wearing the Air Max 90 Essential's for about five years now.
Just got a new pair:
They just fit me perfectly, so comfortable.
adults should not wear sneakers unless they are participating in athletic activities
you can usually get similarly low-key stuff from national standard, etq, our legacy, marc jacobs collection, etc for much less around sale season. check ssense, shopneighbour, yoox, and so on.I really want Common Projects (or something similar) But 400$ Canadian is a tad much for plain sneakers
These are the only pair of shoes that I own, best $70 I spent ever.![]()
I really need to get a new pair of these. I wore them for years.

I've put holes in so many pairs. I haven't bought a pair in awhile though, mostly because they added a lot of bulk to them. :<
~$350 is a pretty good price for CP if you like the look of them. the leather is miles above your standard sneaker, they're fully lined in leather, too; feels like a baseball glove on your feet. the soles are more sturdy too ime, they're made in italy by serena and hard to break down. that's what, 3.5 vans otw ludlows on the sneaker exchange rate, which I consider a fair deal.OK, these are pretty damn fly:
But £200 seems a bit rich for trainers. I wonder how good the quality is? £200 isn't utterly ludicrous, I might give them a try at some point, push the boat out!

Adidas Indoor Tennis Mid-cut. I have them in white too, really versatile and comfortable.
I really don't like these, I saw them a few weeks back in JD and thought they were going to be like £30, bottom of the range or something. There is something about the high sided sole and the panelling that makes them look super cheap, but they seem to be really popular at the minute. I just don't get the appeal at all.
Adidas Tech Super
well i can only speak for myself, but the standard chuck taylors, which i like design-wise, disintegrate on me after a few months. I have a couple of several year old pairs of 'nice' sneakers that are still holding strong despite me wearing them constantly and generally treating them like shit. Thanks a lot mac, good post. I really do like to look of them, really classy.
I think I'm even coming around on the gold print on the heel. It's not massively intrusive and I guess it's basically the logo of sorts.
Plus, the first time I saw it was on those glossy blue lo-tops you posted in the last trainer thread. I'm not a fan of glossy trainers in general and the stamp seemed a bit more prominent. It's quite subtle with a more matte natural shade of material.
I am really considering it, nicest shoes I've seen in a while. And if the quality is worth the outlay I might be sold. As much as I like to extole the virtues of mid-priced fashion I'd be lying if I said the quality/longevity wasn't lacking somewhat in the £60 Adidas trainers I buy. A year or two of moderate wear and they're basically kickers.
Yeah, I got the red nubuck ones posted and the white dotted leather ones, both from JD. They'd only just launched though. You get these from JD? Seem to be selling out quick, there's no more 11's in the colour I want on the site.![]()
Where did you buy them from?
I love these, right to my street.Vans OTW Native American Alomar are my go-to shoes for much of the year. I live on the Canadian prairies where it's generally wet and colder during the fall/spring. I need actual boots for the winter and lighter shoes for the summer, but these are my most comfortable shoes when wearing pants.

Just ordered the Nike Free Flyknit 3.0. This thread just sat me back 150. Ah well. Comfort is king.
I don't really understand how basketball shoes can be your "go to" shoes.
i wish you guys would put the sneaker names with the pics. i'm not a sneaker expert and i wanna check out some of those.
These are really nice too. They look a little long, but I'm only a size 7 so the proportions would probably look better.![]()
Need a new pair though, they are starting to fall apart.
