onitsuka are a great choice, sleek and attractive. Im not really one for large shoes, I much prefer tapered streamlined ones.

I like tretorns, la coq sportif and puma for sneakers. For leather shoes I go with Brano, Democrata and a few local makers. Will try to find pics.

nope these are patent leather 8 eye non-steel toe

Mine are shiny leather 10 eye steel toe

dr.martens are great shoes I find them very comfy and they take a beating like i said my last pair lasted years before they even got holes in them. The patent leather were probably around 130 US mine were in the 150 US range. They also have greasy leather. The greasy leather is soft where as the shiny leather is a lot stiffer.

My god the search i had for the patent leather version. LOL, i ordered them online at first, they never came, got a refund eventually. Then rang them up and asked where i could get them, apparently the only place left was the official dr. martens store in camden. i happened to be go to london the week after.

then ofcourse i was ripped off. online they were like £60 i think. the cheeky wankers in camden charged me £110 but ha, i didn't care. i'd wanted them for far too long. so i payed anyway.

lol - the whole reason i wanted them was because this weird designer called gareth pugh used them in one of his shows like 2 years ago now.

Yeah, I'm excited about the KJ's, they're really nice. I need to find some pictures of people wearing CP's, there's a store here in New Zealand which has very limited stock so I at least know what the mid and lows look like, but they don't have any of the high tops or metallics (my heart is set on the patent leather, but still...).
