Just got these DC shoes in white and green ("emerald") for about $25. I'm a girl (and don't skate) and I know they're "boy shoes" (they really were from the men's section... I have big feet) but I think I can pull them off. If anybody else thinks differently please tell me that I will indeed look ridiculous. A friend of mine called them "wigger shoes" but I like them!

I want to use the green laces but I don't know how I should lace them exactly. They're a tiny bit wide so I'd want to pull them a bit tight if possible while still looking pretty cool (I like straight bar laces). Is it necessary that I tuck them under the tongue? Suggestions please

Just got these last week, after breaking them in, they are pretty comfortable.
