'Powerless' - NBC developing comedy about civilians in the DC Universe

Eh networks don't seem to be in this habit as much anymore
Seems will let even struggling shows burn out episodes unless utterly disastrous numbers
When one can not meme properly...

Opening scene
A stoner is standing on a long line for concert tickets while smoking a joint. He looks at all the people ahead of him.
Stoner
. Man, why's there so many scalpers here. It should be about the music, man.
Suddenly Superman flies overhead chasing a violation into a half constructed building. Everyone looks up and gaps in awe.
Stoner
There's no one in that building. What a relief man
Camera pans down as the stoner and everyone else takes out their cell phones to get a video. Those pictures are cut tragically short when a steel beam falls on the line, killing everyone before the stoner.
Stoner
What do ya know? It's my lucky day
The stoner walks ahead around the steel beam with the people under it nonchalantly as if piles of dead bodies are a daily occurrence to him. Suddenly a laser beam incinerates his joint
Stoner
Huh?
The silver looks up to see Superman in front of him, with an unconscious supervillain draped over his shoulder
Superman
Those did ate causing as much damage to your body as this guy was to metropolis, citizen. You'd best turn your life around before you wind up the same as him.
Superman flies away. The stoner checks his pocket and looks annoyed
Stoner
That was my last joint. Not cool, man!

glad to see this go to series as I have been interested in it since i heard about it in 2015.
also not minding the casting.
I have high hopes for this, but sadly I figure at best it will be like better off ted. a great comedy with little mainstream appeal that is cancelled well before it is no longer funny

I LOVE Batman and Green Arrow. I mean the normal normal people. The civilians of the universes. Like I don't care about anyone in SHIELD, Agent Carter...
You know what? I just really am not a fan of a lot of Marvel characters. I tried listing examples and could only think of Marvel characters. So I guess you beat me again and now I am openly not as cynical for Powerless.
