Predict the biggest box office bomb of 2015: We're doing this again.

Because it was souch fun last year, and I don't think anyone else is making a thread on it. Let's try to predict which movie will be the biggest bomb of this summer.

For those who don't know, the biggest bomb is the first that makes the least money back compared to it's budget.

Example

Movie A has a budget of $100 million

Movie B has a budget of $10 million

They both make $20 million, so Movie A is a huge bomb while movie B is mild success.

Now that that's out of the way, my vote goes to Tomorrowland.

It's concept needs to be proven imo, plus it's coming out at an awful time. What do you guys think?

Edit: here's a list of this years movies

http://www.firstshowing.net/schedule2015/

Edit: and a code to keep up with the movies and their budgets/gross

Code:
			Release Budget Domestic	WW Total
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Blackhat Jan $70M $8M $17M
Mortdecai Jan $60M $7M $30M
The Seventh Son Feb $95M $17M $110M
Jupiter Ascending	Feb $176M $47M $181M

Mad Max: Fury Road	May $150M
Tomorrowland May $190M
San Andreas May
Jurassic World June $150M
Terminator Genisys	July $170M
Pixels July $110M
Ant-Man July
Pan July $150M
The Man from UNCLE	Aug
Fantastic Four Aug $122M
Hitman: Agent 47	Aug

Ant-Man.

And I am usually very positive on Marvel films. The marketing has just been off on this one.

They will probably prove me wrong.

Fantastic Four

Movie just looks run of the mill, and too dour for a FF film. Hobo Doom and erratic Trank behavior included

Have to agree with OP. I think Tomorrowland, which is dropping far too son, will be a bomb.

I worry a bit about Mad Max since they say it's trending low, but man...

Ant-man could be the first underperforming MCU flick because it is too little after a too bombastic Avengers. Should have switched the release.

Personally I hope it is Pixels.

I think Tomorrowland's success or failure will lie squarely with it's reviews. It's an unproven franchise -- albeit a Disney one -- but it's not geared completely towards kids. The demographic is somewhat unclear. I don't really feel the excitement for Tomorrowland, but I can see it doing well if it's reviewed well. I can see it easily bombing if the reviews are middling.

Fantastic Four

Movie just looks run of the mill, and too dour for a FF film. Hobo Doom and erratic Trank behavior included

I think FF or Terminator: Genisys are two realistic choices.

I think general audiences can smell their shit from a mile away.

I think it's going to be hard to top Blackhat:

Budget: 70 million
Total Worldwide Gross: Almost 18 million.

I think Tomorrowland is gonna be a decent success if it has alright reviews/good RT.

EDIT: Oh, I didn't read that is was Summer Only. Sorry...

Bet against Tomorrowland at your peril. Disney knew what they were doing there.

Are you talking about the movie or the marketing? I have seen two trailers and still don't really even know the concept of the movie, other than an artifact takes you to Tomorrowland and George Clooney is wanted.

Ant man I doubt will bomb, but I see it being a lower receiver when it comes to MCU.

Reviews for Tomorrowland should come out before the film right? I think how that goes could make or break the film in some ways.

Maaaaybe tomorrowland

Damn disney to hell for monopolizing imax for may btw. Goes from avengers straight to tomorrowland, skipping mad max whereas it looks like it would be the best of the 3 in this format

hey i think mad max looks dope but I can't shake the dredd 2.0 vibes

and FF will probably break even and nothing more

terminator will do ok and keep the engine running until cameron puts it out of its misery (or just sell it again for more avatar funding)

pixels will double its budget

tomorrow land will do ok, a small family movie snack before star wars

Fantastic Four

Movie just looks run of the mill, and too dour for a FF film. Hobo Doom and erratic Trank behavior included

FF is my pick as well. It's dark, boring, and bland. The cast looks like they could fall asleep at any moment. The director is all wrong for the project and allegedly was almost fired on set for being a screw up.

The trailer played in front of Avengers on opening night with a packed theater and momentarily killed the buzz. It was like sleeping gas rolled through the theater.
This was a theater full of nerds in costume as well, the best possible audience you could have for FF.

I think Tomorrowland is gonna be a decent success it has alright reviews/good RT.

The marketing needs to be a lot more solid imo.

Also RT scores etc are never a firm indicator of any success, I point you to films like Paul Blart 2 and it's ilk which have ratings below 10 and are still critic proof.

Same goes for films that get rated highly but no one goes to see them.

Tomorrowland's probably not a bad call.

I can see Ant-Man and Fantastic Four doing worse than the studios are hoping for, but certainly not to the extent that either of them can be called a bomb.

Terminator: Genisys

Taking into account the worldwide gross, Jupiter Ascending has (barely) made back the production costs... Promotion is another thing but its not as big of a bomb as people were expecting.

I really don't know what to make of San Andreas.

Audiences don't always show up for The Rock.

Still, it looks like a lot of fun that people might eat up.

Since 4 months are already done in 2015, I think we should just predict biggest summer bomb.

I vote Pixels. Although Ted 2 looks fucking horrible.

I can sadly see this.

Each time that trailer has been shown a silence descends on the crowd but I'm never sure if it's a wow silence or a wtf was that shit one.

The film does look to have a huge ad spend though. I've seen bus adverts and massive billboards so if it 'bombs' they can't say they didn't try.

There is a lof of remake crap on that list. A sequel to Olypmus Has Fallen ?
ANOTHER Transporter ? A movie version of Man On A Wire ? A Point Break remake ?

Biggest turd will hopefully be Terminator Genysysys which looks terrible in addition to being unoriginal.
