New Ratchet for PS3 for a bit surprising but understandable. PS4 has Knack. Software on PS3 still sells, TLOU delivered big numbers. All in all I like how Sony is spreading their titles.
During E3 Yoshida said they had 12 new IPs, but then showed only one if I am correct. The Order 1886. Love the looks, even more excited because of who is making it.
Since SSM is helping with development hence the logo in the trailer, it makes sense that Stigs new IP was not shown at E3. Sony said they will have something for Gamescom and they seemed even more hyped for TGS. So this is my prediction based on how Sony has been doing their reveals in the recent years.
Gamescom: Best case scenario: GG has some sort of reveal for their new IP. Teaser trailer at least. Event is in Europe, they are from Holland, it would make sense. Less interesting scenario: MM shows their move game that they showed during PS4 reveal instead.
TGS: SCEJ has to show something big for Japanese audience. Alen Becker has been over there for almost 2 years. Projects that he greenlit will begin to show. Mark Cerny is there as well. So either Demon Souls 2 , hard core would love it. Or some new Jrpg from SCEJ (I know one poster said it was coming, but that it was very early on). Best Case Scenario: Demon Souls 2 or a big RPG project. Less interesting scenario:A bunch of smaller B and C type of game that won't move a unit.
VGA: Now here Sony like to have something big. Naughty Dog more then any othe Sony studio. If I am correct ND revealed U2, U3 and TLOU at VGAs. Best case scenario:New IP from ND or Uncharted 4. And or SSM new IP finally
How do you see Sony playing their cards?
