The anime american fans being a lot of them trump voter or with far right ideologies always makes me think.
I will always find interesting how normalized being and anime and manga fan is in most european contries, with most of the community being socially more liberal and a huge part of it being a female audience, while a lot of american public despises them in some form calling their fans weabos and this ones being of far right ideologies (not talking about every american anime fan being like that of course).
Would love to see an study about it.
