Project X Zone sold 400.000 units (worldwide?)

Good news for the localisation of more obscure games that are licensing landmines, I hope.

The last time I remember something this unexpected happening before PxZ was Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom. The way that performed made me feel that maybe we'd never see something like that happen again.

Maybe one day my dreams will come true and we'll get another localised Super Robot Taisen game.

Well, Digimon fans are still waiting for Cyber Sleuth and Re;Digitize, with Cyber Sleuth especially sounding to be a really good game :(

I'll still get PxZ2, but I really really need my Digimons!! I guess Saint Seiya sold well enough too on DD to get localized in NA, even? The first one is still $60...

I'm not going to rag on the game, but it is baffling that its such a success while stuff that you would assume to be more mainstream friendly struggles to make a mark.

I mean, that's gotta be more then any of the 3DS Layton games, or the awesome Crash City Mayhem/Runabout, or Story of Seasons/Natsume-made Harvest Moon combined, or Ace Combat 3DS, or ...

I didn't really grasp the gameplay in the demo so I never gave this a chance but it's always nice to see niche games from the bigger companies do well sales wise.

Pretty incredible result. Good for them.

Bamco have been having some real success stories with localizations lately. Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment did really well too. Hope this encourages them to try even more.

I remember when it was released in europe, it was almost impossible to find it where I live, and I remember the price going up on amazon.fr

I just thought they had shipped two copies

Edit: wow it's still full price

I can't believe there are 400K people in this world who would want to play/purchase that game lol.

Try this demo on the eShop, yall. It's astounding it sold this much. It's not a BAD game, but its freaking WEIRD. And boring. And dumb.

It has X and Zero in it, who cares about the gameplay ;)

Bought it in on sale and don't regret it. Plenty of hours though it is definitely drawn out. Looking forward to the sequel and hope it improves on the original.

It's so bad.

Gameplay was unique and the fan service was of the highest tier. The story sucked and it was way too long. So not that different from your average rpg. Personally im eager to see what they do with the sequel.

Yes, I want this.
