SRW characters especially Sanger have pretty much secured this as a day one for me.
CHHHEEEESTOOO!

I'm still waiting for EXCEED. T__THere you go

Demo was not convincing.
Am I missing something? The battle system was kinda shit. Barely any strategy involved.
Seems like another squandered opportunity for a crossover game to actually be good.

You should know whether or not you want to buy something after playing it once or twice.
holy sweet christ I have no clue how that game works at all but I played the demo for like fifteen minutes, then decided to preorder
seems it'll be worth figuring out.
Any word on if we'll get it before the release of the full game? This is truly a love or hate game. IMO the combat will get really old fast. I'm gonna wait for impressions of the B demo.
Yeah, X = Cross for some of Namco & Capcom's games. Either pronunciation is fine, though officially, it's pronounced "Project Cross Zone"This game is fucking rad, I'm gonna preorder when I pick up The Last of Us. And it's Project Cross Zone, correct? Not ex?
Yeah, when I selected the demo and heard KUROSU I was like what? And it's Project Cross Zone, correct? Not ex?

Cannot wait to get the OST. Need another pre-order/LE CD to have in my car to listen to.

Thanks! The OST is fantastic as well.
lol I had the same reaction.
Is the US/EU version getting JP voices as well?
Not sure how people are getting confused by the battle system. Its not button mashy or crazy fast paced or anything. You use one move after the other, juggling the enemy to the best of your ability, maybe throw in an extra solo or support character action, then bust out a Y button super if necessary.
Just wait for one attack to end and activate the other before the enemy hits the ground.
And thats just from playing the game for the first time via the demo (i'm sure i'm missing out on some finer points, but its not that complicated so far).
yeah I started to see glimmers of that, but how do I know which of the tree attacks launch/juggle/are bad at juggles. what does the Y button do! when is support ability necessary! does it matter which two characters go into battle together? what governs who your partners are! what's going on!
it takes a while to sort through all that.
also those "tutorial" screens are super long and totally out of context, so I skipped most of them.
'Y' button for super attack only when you have accumulated 100% xp (cross points) just jumping in, I thought XP meant experience--you know, like it always does in every video game
The B, D, S, and P stand for status effects. yup, just glancing at that move list at the bottom of the screen had NO idea what these meant
For the release version, does anyone know if you're able to pick your team before fights or if you're just stuck with what they give you like in the demo?
are there more moves or is the stuff in the demo all they pretty much got (for these characters)?
It it is anything like Super Robot Wars, then while you might have pre-deployed teams early in the game, once you hit a certain threshold of units you will be able to pick which units you deploy. There will probably generally be one or two units you need to bring to each mission for plot reasons, then you get to choose the rest of the team you deploy.
From what I heard, everyone will be deployed every time unless some characters are not here because of the story. So you will never have to choose your team.
So you can say that for everyone? I played the Theatrhythm demo 30 times...
This game is fucking rad, I'm gonna preorder when I pick up The Last of Us. And it's Project Cross Zone, correct? Not ex?
It took you 30 times to decide whether you wanted or did not want to buy Theatrhythm?

You should buy the game to see if you like it... wait...I really enjoyed this game, the fact that some retro characters get all up in that s#!t makes me happy.. Though I feel as if the Demo is lacking a bit more functionality, I can't really play that kind of game with such limited game play.

Yes. Same dudes making all these games. Longass battles where you just press buttons over and over just to grind damage on enemies while watching the same animations again and again and again and again.![]()
Really? I guess the cast list is too small for choosing who to deploy to be strictly necessary, but it sounds like battles might drag on a bit if the army sizes are always that big.
And just to clarify (because I wasn't clear on it myself having only played EF before this), there is NO LEVEL GRINDING in this game. Seems like that fact alone should make juggles (and crits) during battle that much more relevant, meaning button mashing won't win the day in the end.
I swore to myself that if this game ever does do the impossible and gets localized, I'm going to buy two copies just to support them for bringing it over. Played the demo and I'm happy I don't have to buy the same game twice in vain. So yeah, One copy to play, and the other to save. I think this is going to become the next Radiant Historia.
Wow, uh, so is the entire game walking around with no real tactics, use as many health items as you want in one turn, then engage in combat that is nothing but hit a couple buttons with no apparent limitations or need for timing beyond juggling?
I mean, if I'm understanding this properly anyway, this is like browser shovelware. This demo knocked me from "oh well, its fan service fluff, but I feel I must support it" to "I can't even bring myself to buy this for X and Zero." This makes those cute little Queen's Blade games look like Tactics Ogre.

You and me both my friend.
