Except for the part where you still need a ps3 hooked up.You could buy like 10 - 30 of those games PERMANENTLY and without online hassle for that price. :X
Is there any way to test my connection for this? I can't remember.
do you pay all at once or in monthly increments like Netflix? even though it's the same amount of money $10/month is much more palatable than $100 up front.
either way I'm glad Sony is sticking with this and trying to make it work.
Find it strange this thread is getting such low traction, this is basically a Netflix like subscription for a vast array of titles across many devices. Reading the other PSNOW threads, the chief complaint was the price by so many, why aren't they jumping on this?
Could be the $99 fee instead of a much more manageable $8/month, goal post changing, not interesred in the current catalogue, or maybe they're turned off by the fact that it doesn't include the entire library of PS Now games.

That's what I thought but conkerkid said I was wrong and that there were extra fees on top of the monthly fees. When I had PSNOW I didn't remember having to pay any extra fees either. I just wanted to make sure, thanks. It's more Netflix not Prime
You're wrong. The subscription doesn't cover the entire PS Now library.
If the list on the IGN wiki is up to date, it's definitely not worth it in my opinion.
Not much on there exclusive to Sony platforms, most of the content still requires an additional purchase beyond the monthly fee, and I get more value out of PS+ for half the cost.
Wait .. Which games in the PSNOW need extra fee? How do I get more info? Lol so confusedCould be the $99 fee instead of a much more manageable $8/month, goal post changing, not interesred in the current catalogue, or maybe they're turned off by the fact that it doesn't include the entire library of PS Now games.

Not a terrible analogy, I don't think. So it is Amazon Prime model after all.

If the full library of games were available, I'd probably drop the $99 on it. I should look over the full library first. Let me do that...
Edit: If the list on Wikipedia is to be believed, there isn't enough even on the non-sub list to sway me if it were added to the list for the subscription. As I said before -- I'm just not interested in older games. I'd rather be looking forward at new ones. Kind of a strange shift for me, because I was always more retro-oriented before.
I tried out a rental of Crazy Taxi since I hadn't tried PS Now since the very early days of the beta.
Two things. One, wow does Crazy Taxi kind of suck without the original Bad Religion and Offspring tunage. Two... this works kind of well now. Visually it's sharp, hardly any noticible compression (not that this is a very detailed game I guess), and lag that is low enough to pretty much pass my unfair standards with it. I'm impressed that it got this good.
Tempted to do the week subscription trial to try it with a shooter, curious if the lag situation is as good as it felt in CT.
Yeah an event catered towards North American was totally going to do that.EU when? :-(
Hoped for an announcement at PSX...
The most annoying part is my 2014 Sony Bravia has 5Ghz but my PS4 dont wthI already have a ps now app on my Sony hdtv but my wife and I are thinking of buying a small hdtv for our son and I'm now thinking of buying him a Sony hdtv and a PS3 controller with a sub to ps now.
I know he'll love it.
Can't create fps that aren't there. There are only like a handful of games that arent 30fps.Is everything still locked to 30fps?
Didn't realise it's for a limited time only.

It needs to actually work before charging money for it! I've got a 200mb down and 18mb up connection, wired to my PS4, and it's a terrible experience, 90% of the time it tells me my connection can't handle it, and when it does work it stops and breaks up 2 minutes in. Awful.
With all the threads/posts about how it works flawlessly, for ppl with slower connections, I'd say you atleast better do alittle more troubleshooting
That should put the total list of games available to about 400+ (100ish PS3 exclusives, 300+ other PS3 games), but not all are available in the subscription plan.
Can you explain the "not all are available in the subscription plan" portion? If they are advertised, why aren't they included?

So when that eventually makes its way to the UK that'll convert to.. £99?
It seems that not all games are part of the subscription plan. Don't forget that ultimately it's up to the publisher/ IP owner of the game to allow it or not.
I'm not sure if it is completely up to date, but the list below details which are included and which are not.
