It's the best game on the system for me, with gravity rush second so far. Game is far far better than LBP as a platformer, when you say mario which game are you reffering to? I think it's better than nsmb ds and equal with nsmb wii but every other mario platformer is better than it.

Well the bolded are system exclusive IPs or are games from a series exclusive to the system and that lineup isn't exactly amazing and sure to be system sellers, the rest are ports that are superior on other platforms. So it's understandable that people find that there isn't much of a selection of games that they actually want to buy on this thing. Also your last point is just wishful thinking. Why would devs be willing to support the vita as strongly as you hope seeing as it's sales have been very underwhelming and so far show no signs of improving.

as for rayman, I have played the demo.... it just seems a little on the "light" side. I personally really liked LBP especially multiplayer and love most mario games...
Do you mean light on content? It's not short.
Buying basically any vita game that comes out that is not completely abysmal (although you did buy little deviants and reality fighters for some reason) does not prove it has a strong selection of games.

that's true but I think BlazBlue, WipEout, Virtua Tennis 4, Uncharted, Marvel Vs. Capcom, Rayman, Ninja Gaiden, Mortal Kombat, Lumines, Gravity Rush, Everybody's Golf and FIFA are strongly good.

you think unit 13 controls like a dream? isn't resistance a FPS? iirc... and uncharted has the "FPS" sniping and shooting (3rd person but still..)

Now let me bold the exclusives for you on that list, what people really care about, not ports. Sony stupidly made sound shapes for ps3 also, taking away an exclusive from a system that badly needs it

Yeah, it's touched on it before, which is always frustrating, because that stuff has outshined the rest of the package every time. There were a couple of really cool 'estates' in Brotherhood that were effectively really fun isolated stealth missions. Far better than the normal city stuff.
Not that this'll turn me off the game or anything, but I'd love to see them do something a little more focused.

Yes Resistance is the one FPS and it controls wonderfully.
It's OK. I'm primarily a handheld gamer, and while I can see your argument, one system fits my gaming lifestyle over the other is all.
Yeah, the Vita is looking better than the PS3 if you want to go that route:

original games are important and certainly welcome but the Vita is a beast on its own and its been said by several people in these threads as long as the Vita ports are faithful they are worth a buy over the console versions, myself included. If TT wouldn't have been stupid and made the Vita version of Lego Batman 2 the same as the consoles I would have bought that in a heartbeat, works really well on the Vita for me where I may not bother with the console version. Disgaea 3 has been awesome for the Vita and a perfect fit.
If they can now make faithful multiplatform games on the Vita why treat them with disdain? Why is it a crazy notion that people, if given a choice, would rather play their console games on a handheld if able to?

I'm interested in only because they are on the Vita, otherwise I wouldn't even bother with them on my PS3.
I agree that the Vita needs it' own exclusives (and it has some) but it doesn't mean it can't share some games with the PS3.

I've beaten the game and I totally get what you're saying. It felt like you were just running left to right with nothing else interesting to do but keep running left. The levels all basically have one way to go through them, there is not much challenge for most of the game, and the enemies all basically show no presence at all.
I really don't know why a lot of people prop that game above recent mario games with the clever secrets, sonic games with speedy sections + the multiple pathways, and LBP games with the never know what to expect levels. I guess "bland" might be a better word than "light". Maybe the art style just speaks to people that aren't me.

I used XviD4PSP to convert PSP videos, and I can't see why it wouldn't work for the Vita as well. The program looks way more complicated than it actually is.

I have downloaded like 5 or 6 videos from youtube to my vita and all of them didn´t needed to be converted...

What is the dreaded "Vita cannot play video c2-13623-5"? I have a bunch of videos, but cannot play them. I've converted to MP4, 720p, any help would be appreciated.
I think C2 is a content error. Vita can't play 720p video yet. You'll have to convert it to SD resolution (or Vita native rev, I think but I'm not sure in this case).
BTW, Sony customer service has an annotated list of errors here:

Quite useful for new Vita owners.
Also, you can see Vita's error log by following Settings > System > Error History
Get Velocity, simply too good to miss (cheap anyway). And Rayman if you havent played it yet. So beautiful on this screen.

It works out better for us PS3 and Vita owners though. We pay one price and get both. I'll end up playing on Vita the most, but playing on PS3 once in a while with my kid is not a bad idea either.
Or better yet, when I'm at work, I think it's perfectly fine for my son to fire up the PS3 to play SoundShapes.

I've always enjoyed platformers on handhelds more, no real reason other then that. Another example is Rayman, I'll get that on my Vita but not on PS3.
