I've fantasized about Joe Danger showing up on the Vita, and sure enough I came across this just now. Why did I not see this reported anywhere else?

Unfortunately they seem to be suggesting this is iOS for now, but it would be interesting to see if they'd bring it over to the Vita as well. I hope Sony is talking to Hello Games about this.

Played tons of Joe Danger on PS3, would love a Vita version. Oh, and I would rather drink my own piss than try to play Joe Danger on iOS...

Bike Baron is one of the few games I keep returning to on my iPad. Joe Danger would work fine I think. But I'd certainly prefer to play it on Vita. And Bike Baron for that matter.

I'm currently looking at the following games from the eu psp sale:

The "almost certain I'm getting them"-Games
MHFU
Megaman Maverick Hunter X
Persona 3

The "thinking about them"-Games
Touch my Katamari
Persona 2
Breath of Fire 3

And I already have TO:LUCT. So any comments? Any game I've missed?

And from my earlier post, can anyone confirm Half-Minute Hero is available on the eu psn from the Vita (no ps3 transfer)?

I also totally got weak and ordered a 32gb card...

Great games, each of them :)
And I am 99.9% sure HMH is available on the Vita PSN, since I've checked it out before (I think it was 13€?). So unless they removed it recently, it should be on the Vita store.

Have you played TO: LUCT yet? I think I'm almost finished with it. It's a great game.

Of the games you're thinking about, I would probably go with Persona 2. Are you a fan of mainline SMT games? The game isn't much like P3 or P4.

What do people here think of FFT: WOTL? I know it's a classic, but this version apparently has technical issues. Is it really similar to TO, or does it feel distinct?

So I think I'm going to return my Vita and get a new one. I don't think I can ignore the dead pixels anymore. What do I need to do to reset it so my PSN account isn't on it anymore etc.?

No need to do anything if you're going to keep your memory card.

I think this is incorrect.

Before you sell the device go to Settings -> Format -> Restore the PS Vita System -> Restore
just say No to formatting the memory card or take the memory card out before you do the above.

You'll probably be asked to reformat the card when you insert it in your new Vita.

Holy crap, I rewatched famousmortimer's "Why My Vita Hype" video on Vita's Youtube. Day and night difference. ^_^

Yes, you should do that so that the next guy sees a clean system. But I don't think your account info is kept on the Vita.

Also make sure you sync your trophies to the servers.

That's weird, I honestly can't find it... PSN Store -> PSP Games -> H -> No Half-Minute Hero :/

I already played it but haven't finished it yet, I think I'm somewhat halfway through.

I have to admit I haven't played any SMT games yet. I know, I know... Doesn't matter whether I start with Persona 2 or 3 though, right?

Half Minute Hero is on the store, in the UK at least

Hm, are there differences between the individual eu stores?

Strange. There can be differences in content. Where do you live? Try using the search option?

I kinda wish MGS: HD was out on the Oceania PSN but oh well, I'll wait one more week.

With the sale though, I'm looking to get:

  • Rayman
    Unit 13
    Gravity Rush
    Trails in the Sky
    Persona 3
    Megaman Maverick Hunter X
UMvC3 (might wait a bit more since it's still $60)

Someone please convince me otherwise >_<

The problem is the card was already on the account and I have used it many imes before without any problems, I would say it's a fault on Sony's end but nobody else is having this issue?
I guess I will just buy a pre-paid card instant code for now.

You need to delete the old card-info, before it will start using the new card.. :)

Is there a way for me to save my stuff? If I have to reformat my card I will lose my save files and stuff...

That's weird. It's not like it is a graphical or violent game or anything... Is it available on the ps3 PSN?

I don't have a ps3 but it looks like it's not on the ps3 psn either. It's pegi 12, so that shouldn't be a problem. The weird part is, it's even mentioned in the german ps blog a couple of times with the weekly psn updates but I don't know if they just translate the eu version.

I initially set up my Vita without a memory card and it totally kept my PSN settings in system memory. I don't think that stuff is stored to the card at all.

Use Content Manager to copy/backup the saves to a PC/Mac/PS3.

You'll need to download Content Manager Assistant on your PC/Mac. Google for it.

Also, don't forget to sync your trophies.

Interesting ! In that case, a system restore would be compulsory. As someone said above, it would deactivate the old Vita also ? If not, you will need to deactivate it explicitly.

I wouldn't take the plunge on P2 until you've played P3. Order doesn't matter, but P3 is definitely the more popular game. P2 is more of an acquired taste due to the dated mechanics.

Glad to see I'm not the only one needlessly stocking up on digital supplies :p

Man, all those Capcom PSP games are really fun. Hopefully, they will give the same support to the Vita, right? Right? :(

But yeah, their PSP games sure are fun.

UMvC3 (might wait a bit more since it's still $60)

I'm pretty sure UMvC3 is $40 dollars and not $60 dollars, besides you're better off getting the PS3 version if you're gonna stay home all day, however if you have places to go, the Vita version does everything the PS3 version does, but obviously it doesn't look as good as the PS3 version.

I thought Soul Sacrifice was by Capcom for some reason. Is Ultimate Marvel v Capcom 3 the only Capcom Vita game released or announced?

Soul Sacrifice is a game produced by Keiji Inafune (who previously worked at Capcom) and his team at Comcept, developed at Marvelous AQL, and published by Sony.

As it stands, Capcom's Vita support is solely UMvC3, and Street Fighter X Tekken.

Oh, probably should've mentioned that it's 60 New Zealand dollars

So this Mutant Blobs Attack game is pretty good. I expected it to be worse from watching the trailers for it.

Yeah, it's far more awesome than I expected. Just discovered there is a PSN-prequel that was released a few years ago, and now I'm thinking about checking that out too.

(Also; Holy cow, first post! My GAF-account is finally working, no more lurking for me. :D)
