My body is ready. It's about damn time I was able to play my Vita games on my TV.
anyone?
does this have a vita game card slot?
Pretty sure the bundle comes with a lego game on a vita card so yeah pretty sure it has a slot. The JP version does, and I don't see them making a new hardware for the US, so yeah.
I wish this was updated hardware so it supported 1080p.

Didn't someone reveal, trough opening it, that it is just a Vita with HDMI?
Yeah, a console to play Trails in the Sky 2!
Sony really dislikes the Vita. Won't even call it a Vita TV when it runs on Vita OS...
I'm surprised they are still bringing it over after its disastrous Japanese release. I don't think it has much of an audience in the West either.
bless the playstation gods. I am going to have my Ps4 in 2 places at once!
Plastation TV sounds better than Vita TV because its focus for a broader audience and the thing doesnt play all Vita titles. Still dont think its worth it.
In the West there is a ton of competition from better media boxes with stronger branding and market awareness. I don't see this competing.I don't think the Japanese audience says anything about the West though. For example half the reason to own it (PS4 Streaming) barely even applies in Japan as no one owns a PS4 and it released before the PS4 even released.
thanksHere's a listof compatible games:

P4G is on there which is all that matters.
Heh, Elminage Original is compatible of all things.
Sony trying to fool people, I see.
Same here. Besides the pipe dream of a Last Guardian update, this was what I wanted most.Best news out of E3 so far, for me anyway.
Why aren't they bundling it with DS4 instead of DS3? Makes no sense.
This puzzled me too.
How come all Vita games arent compatible? What's the point?
Because of the touchscreen.
I really hope that once this releases, I'll be able to use my NA account on my JP Vita TV.
