Okay I in a dilemma... I downloaded the demo for Lumines and I got extremely hooked. I have about 40 bucks on my wallet and was contemplating buying Lumines or buying Monster Hunter Portable / Tactics Ogre. I am currently in the middle of a Lunar playthrough however I suck at Lumines and can't see combos very well unlike Tetris.

I'm going with a Pelican 1060 case. Dimensions should be slightly larger than the PSV with the rubber inserts, and if its a touch too loose I can swap it out with a pick n' pull foam option instead. Got one of those cheap $5 game holders on Amazon that I'm probably going to glue to the inside lid too.

Damn, Rayman Origins is sold out everywhere (in Canada). I had a $10 off coupon for Best Buy but they don't have any in-store or online.
PSN is down for maintenance.

Same here also, I had budgeted for an ipad 3 and/or gpu but the Vita has taken a huge chunk out of that fund, after a carry case, a few games and memory card it soon adds up, I swear this is the most I've paid out on a system launch, I think the PS3 just edges it although I did a trade-in against that so it made it an easier pill to swallow.

I have one of those folios that holds 19 game cards and two memory cards, plus accessories and a removable pouch for the Vita itself, with slots for another four game cards. It is awesome.

It's in stock online at both EBGames.ca and Amazon.ca.
But speaking of Canada. Has any Canadian been able to find the hori screen protection film in stock anywhere? I have a matte one coming in the mail but that will take like another two weeks and I kind of want to try the glossy type before it gets here.

Rayman Origins is the perfect game to buy digitally, rather than on a cart.
It's genre is timeless since platformers are more about gameplay than about plot.
It's not very big (doesn't take up too much), it has a lot of variety and replay, and it's a great pick up and play game that you would prefer to have with you at all times.
It's the only launch nonPSN game I've found that is worth buying digitally, (perhaps a fighting game too if you like that genre).

Looks interesting, wonder if you can do an Otterbox instead, applied a new ZAGG invisble Shield. Will post pics once fully dried, also some Hori cases comparison with the FEB one.

What's the plan with sports franchise ports? Is the Vita going to get its own team for a unique version or is this thing powerful enough that they can base their games off of the console versions, modified? How is The Show being done?
This DOES make sense beyond the idea of senselessly aping iOS (though I think that is a factor to some extent, maybe seeing its rapid rise despite it's grossly stupid, unfriendly way of handling save data made them conclude it's not a BIG deal to be only a little more convenient). And if that's the case... they may as well just drop the "save to cart" option for publishers/developers, not as if a significant number are even bothering it seems.
And it's highly aggravating to some of us because, well, it comes off as something that should've been obvious, and instead they went "we don't care" and went for a wasteful option. I shouldn't need to back up 3+ gigabytes of data for 70 MB of save data that should've been easily kept separate, or HAVE to back up before I delete or lose all my progress.

I believe it doesn't have a "pockets" for cables, but it is divided into two parts with a soft divider.

Ys: Oath in Felghana unless you prefer longer RPGs with a sizable amount of loot rather than a small, tightly focused game, in which case Ys Seven. Either way can't really go wrong, I'd stick with Oath for now though.

Oath in Felghana is the best PSP release of Ys. However, if you've already played it, Ys Seven and Chronicles are both worth the money.
After seeing that screwed up on official art I just don't have the heart to argue it anymore.

That shitty #gamechanger ad aired during Family Guy. More exposure is always good, but this recent one from Japan is so much better in my opinion. Even that cinematic-style Euro ad inspires more feeling than "guy playing Vita while crossing the street"...

The Pull 'N Go Folio.. I have one for my 3DS and since it is such an awesome case, it was a no-brainer to get the one for Vita. Highly recommend..
Forcing players to link their memory cards to your PSN name is the stupidest fucking thing ever. I had to reset my Vita...except I had no idea that the store was down today. Now I can't link my card to my PSN name thus I can't play any games unless I reformat my card. So fucking stupid.
