Those deals in the ads are probably both discounts for the 60GB model.

60GB = 489 with Fifa.

40gb = 449.

Sony said recently that the jump from 60gb to 80gb isn't significant enough. They've just contradicted themselves if they're willing to make cuts of such a small nature.

Why not just do 20gb or leave it at 60gb? They know the white Elite is coming anyway.

60GB is being phased out. It's not in production anymore.

In a few months, all you will be able to buy is 40GB and 80GB.
