Recently, I have wanted to create an organised and uniform look to my PS3 XMB, and my next objective was to tackle my user accounts. I searched and found a great thread from a few years back so I wasn't comfortable bumping it.

Does it matter what file formate you save them as? PNG or jpg? May give this a try later, didn't know you could do this.

You need png if you want transparent images, otherwise you can use jpeg.

No unfortunately, you can change the user icons, not PSN avatars

poppin fresh made an Italian one in the old thread.

With my basic Ps skills I made a few palette swaps

edit: I notice there is still some green in the France one, but it won't be noticeable at the correct scale

I'm using a bunch of Scribblenauts avatars I saved from the GAF thread.

I got my avatar for my account, Gordon Ramsey for my UK account, and Link for my JP account. Here's a bunch I still have saved on my PC:

Funny this thread came up because I wanted to do the same thing after buying my 320GB Silver PS3.

So I just created a bunch using various games. Sonic, Uncharted, God of War, LBP etc.

Those country ones are good too though, never thought to make something like that.

Might do that for my US account and AU account.
