Edit: This means straight up, that games will hit their targets, 30 or 60fps, more often. This does not make a game, capped at 30fps (Bloodborne) a 60fps game.

Nice. I'm liking this trend for hw revisions.

Boost mode - how is this possible ? Cerny mentioned that changing the cpu frequency broke the base ps4 games . Thats why they underclocked the cpu and turned off part of the gpu . Maybe they are unlocking the gpu but keeping the cpu clock rate at 1.6ghz ?

So ... Bloodborne @ 60fps?
Because I'm in. I'm SO in.
When is the new fw going to be testable? We SO need this.
Also cheers to the fanboys who said this couldn't be done because games being unstable you've made a joke of yourselves once again.
Secret Sauce?
Sony did it. Sony actually did it. God damn...

Was literally the first game I thought of too, lol.
i give it a month before devs ask for a boost mode blacklist to keep games from breaking
So what is the trade-off for turning it on seeing as it looks to be a feature that you toggle?
Basically asking why not just have it on at all times.
uhhhhhhhh
Well shit, now I want a Pro again
Looks like Sony put in the testing and realised it wasn't impossible like they were BSly complaining
Regardless, this is freaking amazing so good work (finally)
