PS4 & Xbox One: January 2015 games

A good month for me!

Grim Fandango is a must have and I really can't wait, probably I'm gonna buy it on both PS4 and Vita.

But I'm also going to buy Life is Strange and the price is good enough to seal the deal for Biohazard, last time I played it it was 2002-2003.

2015 coming in with a bang. 2015 is the year these consoles finally start getting the good shit, hoping it continues into 2016 (it probably will!).

Resident Evil, Grim Fandango, and Life is Strange all look great to me. My friends are stoked for Dying Light but I don't really know anything about it. Actually, I don't know anything about Grim Fandango either, but its got a legacy and its Double Fine, so I think I'm in by default.

Grim Fandango is one of the best games ever made (objectively) - the mood, atmosphere and writing are soooo good. The whole beatnik / noir crossed with the Day of the Dead thing works SO well.

REHD, Grimm and Dying Light (as long as reviews hold up). January is already busy and I'm barely finishing up december games as it is.

Looks to be a decent month I guess. Only things I will buy are Dynasty Warriors 8 Empires and Saint's Row IV: Re-Elected and Gat Out Of Hell. The Biohazard remaster was something I was initially interested in but no physical release means "no buy" from me. Life is Strange looks kind of cool but I'm already burnt out on episodic gaming and am 'over' the trend..

Grim Fandango assuming it's technically polished, maybe Resident Evil.

Got a feeling Journey and Beyond: Two Souls could release any time early next year.

Getting Resident Evil. Not entirely sold on Dying Light, I didn't think Dead Island was that great and it got repetitive real fast. Probably need to see reviews and actual player impressions.

Didn't realise Grim Fandango was out so soon! Not played it but heard a lot of good things about it.

Grim Fandango and probably Life is Strange.

Citizens of Earth looks interesting.

Seems like a weak month which is odd since no one is trying to capitalize on all the gift card money on the table. Oh well, I cant wait to see the February and March threads, so many games

I wonder about these sorts of things a lot but just assume the industry does what the do because "reasons". In 2014 we learned that you can absolutely conquer a month and sell millions upon millions by virtue of simply having no competition even if your game doesn't come close to living up to its hype.

The hardware numbers are going to be horrible and the software sure isn't doing it any favors. February and March should be a blast, at least.

Grim Fandango and Life is Strange will be mine

Same. Two adventure games in one month too which is awesome. In a way, i still can't believe Grim Fandango is being re-released. I never thought it would happen tbh. I have never replayed the game since it's initial release (i still have a boxed version) so i'm curious if it will still be as good as i remember it to be.

Now, if the Talos Principle would release in january on PS4 too, that would make january a fantastic month.

Life is Strange for sure, Grim Fandango a maybe too. Dying Light I'd pick up for £25, but I still have Dead Island Riptide on the go, so it'll have to wait.

Probably gonna look at picking up some of the games I've missed over the last year too like Diablo. Might even indulge in some TLOU Remastered.

Oh! And looking forward to First Light on Plus! :D Good month!

Whole month of wait for reviews/impressions for me.

Life Is Strange caught my eye, no interest in Biohazard or re-playing Grim Fandango. Dying Light is a review/impressions one.

Still, will give me a chance to finish Unity & GTAV:NG and complete the January Driveclub DLC ready for The Order in Feb.
