Over 20 Xbox's and 0 PS4's at my local mall in Coral Springs, Florida.
Ps4s are there. Most stores just don't put them out on the floor. My Walmart has them all the time but the electronics guy says they keep them in the back so word doesn't get out and there is a mob.
Scalpers have been returning it because it's been a hard sell, literally.
Weird, I thought PS4s were going to have a massive shipment today? Or maybe they already sold out? Or are they holding it for Sunday
Month One Edition.

That doesn't add up. "We have them, but we won't put them on the floor because too many people would buy them. Instead, we'll stick them in the back and only sell them if asked." That's a terrible way to run a store, and Walmart execs are some of the best in the business at running stores.
Xbox One still in stock on Amazon UK:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00GAOQAYK/
Has been all day, but still only at #27 in rankings. Also in stock online at Tesco, PC World and GAME (bundles only) since Friday.
PS4 in stock at GAME only, but as with XB1 just bundles.
Just what he told me when I asked. Says they have 40 in the back but only sell them on Sundays to get people in for the AD. And the only offer 10-12 for sale each Sunday. Offered to sell me one because I was in uniform. But they had none in the case so I tend to believe him. So either he was lying and they had none and he was going to look silly if I decided to purchase or he did have plenty in the back. Sure they will freely put them out once Christmas is over.
Plus you act as if Bestbuy hasn't been keeping supply off shelves till Sunday these past few weeks.

There's a difference between keeping them in the back for the Sunday ad (which makes sense) and keeping them in the back "so word doesn't get out and there is a mob". I mean, the entire purpose of the sunday ad to get the word out, right?
Still haven't seen any images of PS4's on shelves.
Damn it, Sony. Make more! I'm getting tired waiting for mine.

Well he used the word Mob. Says they don't won't people lining up everyday. Its whatever to me was simply relaying the idea that just because they aren't on the shelf doesn't mean the store does not have any. Which you seem to agree with.
I knew someone who worked as a rep for Nintendo from 2005 to 2008. She said that Nintendo did the same thing to elevate the demand for the Wii. They would always have a stock pile of Wii's in their warehouses but would only ship a few sporadically to different stores in different countries.
Went to a GamesStop yesterday to trade in Ghosts, saw two Xbox One's on the shelf and not a single PS4 in sight.
I know. I hear reports of PS4's out there, but no pictures. Almost everyone has a camera on their cell. It makes me wonder if the reports are true.
My brother saw this dude in Herald Square today.
So if you are in Manhattan, go there I guess?
The guy with the megaphone said "Don't just take a picture, buy an Xbox One and you can take pictures of it in your living room!"

yeah, volume stores would never do that. Maybe in Rodeo drive boutiques, but for a mass market consumer electronic devoce at Walmart, no way.
I actually did something I can't believe I did, which was ask the local GameStop clerk what his stock situation was like. PS4s were OOS and they had Xbones. He said they get fewer PS4s, but not by too much, and they just vanish instantly. This was at Willowbrook Mall in NJ.

Saw about 4 PS4's at BestBuy this morning. I had one in my hand, but I decided to put it back to because I knew I didn't need it.
my best buy had 6 Xbox one boxes
But...
they were all EMPTY boxes [and I did ask about empty boxes]
they did not have any stock on hand
never assume
You have no idea how hard it wasYou're a gentleman and a scholar.
So I guess 3DS and 360 are gonna win Dec. NPD, right guys?
Local Wal-Mart here has been doing the same thing. They had 24 PS4s but were holding them in the back and required customers to ask for one. This was a Sunday too. I think it's pretty lame since everything is already locked behind glass so I don't quite see the reasoning.yeah, volume stores would never do that. At least in the US, retailers are legally obligated to have a certain amount of stock available if it's in their ad, which gets printed well in advance of the sale date. If Best Buy is advertising PS4s in the Sunday flyer but sold their entire stock when it arrived on Thursday evening, they can be prosecuted for "bait and switch;" advertising a popular product you don't actually have in hopes of unloading your stock of the unpopular product once you've lured people in to your store.Wouldn't they advertise them to get people to come in. Always thought the point of supermarkets was to get people in and then get them to spend money on all kinds of stuff even if what they originally wanted is sold out.

Having display boxes is retarded? In what universe? What retard retailer would fill a customer facing shelf with empty boxes only to have no stock?

xbox ones being everywhere is worrying for microsoft, supply has defiantly meat demand, they should be selling out at this stage of the game, not have stacks of 10 xbox ones at every store
