Scoop up one of the old Rock Band bus-powered USB hubs. I legitimately have one per modern system in my house, it really does help with that.

I think Youtube and Share Play alone allow for it to be a named update. Both of those are huge.

I still can't believe there are people who think "15 most recent, all the rest in a pile" is better than folders.

Its a decent half-step. Honestly, I don't think the Ps4 library is big enough for most people, that folders are that essential at this point. I respect people who just like their shit organised, but unless you are installing every app and buying every game out there, you probably have less than 30 items in your DMB if that. For me that is manageable with speed scroll.

I think pausing downloads is a far bigger issue.

How so?I know the firmware updates will download only. They wont install unless you install them yourself. I believe its becuase you have to agree to the agreement.

I believe you long press the Share button for the video to start recording.

No, no. I mean, I want to be able to press a button to capture a clip. It feels more useful than "Starting" a recording, and since PS4 is always capturing the last 15 minutes, I dont see the point of "Starting" a recording.

Share Play and Youtube are huge. USB music is honestly just a small part of this update.

I'm personally most excited about not having to see the same shade of blue ever again.
Share play seems like a pretty big feature but I don't see myself using it too much. Pausing downloads would make this the best update ever for my turd internet.

Sounds like it basically just lets them act as a controller, you should be able to do 4 player co op, but probably only 1 online and 3 local people

Did they want to listen? No. All they wanted to do was complain. A little bit of research and patience will go a long way to relieving your heartburn.

Don't get me wrong, I still feel sony could improve drastically in both the speed of updates and the communication regarding them, but I don't subscribe to the notion that the feature adding updates are slow. They are just no faster than they were with the PS3, which makes the PS4 a bit more barebones at its respective point in the cycle.

That said, I except new features in the PS4 way more frequently in the long run.
