If you're down relative to others then you're failing in comparison because others have done something to perform better.

Gone are the days of 349 dollar gaming machines. Make me wonder how console gaming is ever supposed to access one to parents on lower incomes to afford a game system for their kids.


If they can't come up with affordable consoles to help bring in younger gamers who will become long time gamers/ customers as we have the Industry won't survive.

You're correct in how you're calculating it but last year I believe PS5 sold 2.8M in the quarter.

To calculate the percentage drop you do
(2.4-1.5)/2.4 = 0.37 = 37%
But it's
(2.8-1.5)/2.8 = 0.46 = 46%
