PS5 Set Up A Lil Help Please

So finally after having my ps5 sucked out of my cart in walmart on launch day, I have finally secured a ps5 for both me and my gf, Originally I had her ps4 set to the master system so she would have access to my libary and not have to buy ps+, after setting everything up in family management on the ps5 it seems she is still locked out of my libary and cant play online, did they change this does she need her own ps+ so we can play together?
Also seems like I bought COD instead of COD 3, my gf likes them so wanted something to play together how hard is it going to be to get a refund.

Also I found the whole process of setting these consoles up annoying as fck, im sure they simplified it but having to remember passwords and constantly asking to scan qrcodes sucked ass not to mention I put text to voice on somehow, anyway thanks for any help.

I think that game sharing (and thus PS+ sharing) doesn't work between generations. You can have a primary PS4 as well as a primary PS5.

I'm fairly sure you can game share. The two generations actually make sharing easier because you can have two primaries. AFAIK you need to set your PS5 as the primary system too then all your installed library is shared with whoever logs into it. Unless they changed this recently?

Should be the same as prior gen, put your account on her PlayStation and activate it there. Once you activate your acct on her PS she should be able to play online and download ps Plus games from your acct to play on her acct

Setting up consoles is easy as fuck. It's what they are made for.

I need some help with my PS4.

I was having zero issues with my PS5 before I went home for Christmas.

I came back tonight and wanted to try out some of the new games I got over the holidays.

Before anyone chimes in with standard answers, I have rebuilt the database twice, tried installing with and without internet AND cleared the cache.

The games are *brand new* and *do not* need to be cleaned.

To be clear - this is the same error happening with multiple discs. I've tried five different ones - all brand new - all the same error.

Games are getting stuck at install, either at 3% or 6%. I am just getting a "can't install" error, error CE-100005-6.

Could it be because my PS5 was in a cold apartment for 2 weeks? I have absolutely no idea what's wrong and it was working fine when I went home.

Now I can't even play any of the new games I got for Christmas and I'm really pissed off.

Any suggestions besides the ones I've already tried would be appreciated.

Are you installing to the internal SSD or an expansion drive?
To the internal SSD. I tried turning off the system and unplugging the power cord from the back as one video suggested. It seems to be working for this particular game (Forgive me Father 2)

Edit - this time it got about half way and then gave me the same error.

Discs that are already installed are working fine. The issue is the installation. It refuses to install new games.

What PS5 model do you have? Is it one of the versions with the removable disc drive?

No, built in disc drive. I've tried eight different discs now, and managed to install two. The discs are brand new, they can't all be faulty.
It probably has nothing to do with the disc itself and more likely an issue with the laser. When you disconnected from the internet and tried to install again, did you make sure any partially installed data was deleted first?

Yes. How can it be the laser when it will read games that are installed just fine?
