That's still too expensive. It's hard to get into games other than Attrition at times. I don't see it lasting much longer on PC.
Titanfall was fun for about a week.
Not entirely. I more than often cant find games on X1. But PC is still populated I hear.
I have no problems getting into any games on East US server.
I haven't been able to play anything other than Attrition on Titanfall in over a month.
On Sunday morning on the Australian server (X1) I literally couldn't find a game of attrition after waiting for ages. Was pretty disappointed until I switched to south east Asia and it found a game almost instantly.Uhh what are you talking about? Find games very easily.
Got to Gen 10 in two weeks, tried the first DLC and liked it. Second DLC was trash.
Probably trading it in soon.

Towerfall has a terrible single player and no online mp whasoever. It's a bit of a laugh if you have people to play with locally, but otherwise the game has very little to it. It's extremely overrated.not even the best "T-fall" game of the yeartowerfall:ascension
but seriously, i tried the free game time on pc, had difficulty finding games on any mode that wasn't attrition
I think this game missed it's chance on PS4. Maybe Titanfall 2.
Well to be clear there is a difference between burn cards and skills, since cards allow for a wider range of possibilities. But I suppose you meant skills.
Right now I mostly use cloak as my main skill, because it's the more commonly useful. It can make you harder to notice across the map, and even when fighting at close quarters it can give you a small reaction advantage. And it is a decent counter-measure for wall hack too, since your opponent can't see you then IIRC.
I can see how the parkour upgrade can be very useful too, especially for people who are good at it. Being able to move faster, and cling to walls longer, gives a great strategic advantage to skilled players.
The only scenario where I'd use wall hack is in situations where you would have enemies defending a point. In that case it is very useful to see where they can be hidden before entering the room.
Well the wall hack has a very low refresh rate (on purpose of course), so that the orange silhouettes are usually where the enemies were half a second ago, not where they are right now. At close quarters, you'd be tempted to shoot at an empty space while the opponent is strafing on you. And the fact that the "real" image is half hidden by the blue/orange overlay doesn't help.
As a general rule, I'd say the wall hack is useful against enemies that don't move much. But in Titanfall, there is a lot of moving around.
Probably yes. Although I don't usually rate them by efficiency, but by the way I like to play, or the "feeling" of the guns. For example I like using the light machine gun for its loud "tuht-tuht-tuht-tuht" sound and increasing firing rate, even if it's far from the most efficient weapon. Or the R97 with silencer for the fast "trrrrrt" at close range. Sometimes I feel like sniping with a rifle, or just farm bots with the smartgun.
It's like playing a fighting game, you can have one or two main characters you're best with, but changing style from time to time is fun too.![]()
I dunno, I had more fun with Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare.

Was hyped as hell for the game, but quickly realized it's another run-of-the-mill console shooter.
I LOVE Halo - the slower-paced gameplay and focus on teamwork really cater to my enjoyment. I can appreciate games like Quake and Unreal as they have an absurdly high skill ceiling.
But Titanfall is another iteration of the recent play style of "Oh, I saw him before he saw me! I got a kill! ... ... Oh man, he was to my side and he saw me before I saw him; damn, I died." Rinse/repeat. I'm tired of games that confrontation wins go the the person who saw the other person first 90% of the time.
Yup, when people like to talk about Titanfall like it is some return to arena shooters like Quake or Unreal it just shows how little they know about those games. This game is 90% COD especially in it's gunplay. It is full of random things that have crept into multiplayer game design since COD4. Burn cards, 'grunts' (bots), weapon and attachment unlocks which create imbalance, exterior out of game meta garbage, people spawning behind eachother, it is all designed to create chaos so everyone gets kills. It's annoying design and the reason people are dropping it like crazy and there never was a competitive scene is because it's clear it is another cod-type console shooter that has very little depth.
I dunno, I had more fun with Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare.
Edit: both are way better than what ever the hell is happening in Destinys PvP though. From a huge Halo fan, what a letdown.

i honestly think people who enjoyed PvZ more just didn't put up with sucking at TF long enough to get good at it.
I really want to get it because it is only 20 bucks, but I remember having issues getting into any games on my 48 hour trial
I agree with the OP. Best shooter of the year. In fact, I might even say best shooter in years. It's the closest anyone has come to matching the COD magic that has so many people hooked.
Ditto. Loving it right now.I dunno, I had more fun with Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare.
