Psi-Ops is a PS2 game not PS3 so there's no reason it would be streaming only since none of the other classics are besides the PS3 games.

He probably didn't mean streaming only, but subscription only with PS Plus.

I remember the PS1 Resident Evil Trilogy and Dino Crisis started that way, before it was later made purchasable.

If you ask me, it still has the best combination of buttons to control a telekinesis power, many games copied from it but they never replicated the same magic, and i played a lot of games with telekinesis...
