PSLifestyle: Unannounced Sony title tomorrow

Or so you assert until it really happens.
totally agreed, bookmarked for tomorrow.

[EDIT] What film is called about threesome and one of the guy chopped dick off? was it "Threesome".

Sony Cambridge is unknown but there was an rumour online massive brawl fighting game. and Sony London have some team work on EyePet. I dunno about the rest.

But if true about tomorrow, I think it is one of third party or PSN.

edit: im going to play it extremely safe and just say that it's MGSR and MAYBE a early prototype demo of some sort. not a hands on, just a dev showing some stuff. would just be too weird if konami went all of e3 without admitting (out loud, not via ESRB) that MGSR was also coming to PS3.

if im going out on a limb i would say it's just FF vs XIII footage or demonstration or something.

i doubt it's something we don't already know about though.

With Conviction being what it is, I'm not sure where SF would fit in.

There are two problems:

1) Bend being a small studio still hasn't made a single PS3 game and we're in the middle of the generation right now where they won't necessarily have the chance to just play around and learn.

2) The stealth/spy genre will have both Splinter Cell and Metal Gear with tons and tons of production value thrown at both IP, and a TON of manpower/money invested in them whereas Bend is a much smaller studio, trying to put a product out in the same space is going to be hard, expanding the team might not work and presents significant financial risk. I wonder if they should have started much earlier and work over a longer time frame like Sucker Punch did with Infamous. Bend simply spend too much time on PSP games.

I was wondering what London has moved onto after Eight Days and Getaway both got canned, outside of Eyepet that is. It would be a shame to throw away all the stuff they've worked on in the past.

what's the website that called Rapture exclusive? I wanna see if they have anything to say
examiner.com I think, but self-writer tho.

[edit] it's not. It was gameplayer

I think it was gameplayer.com?

yeah, here's that article

Contrary to what we were originally told, there will be a Square Enix press conference after all, at 11a.m on the Wednesday of the show. This will be a portal for selected media to learn more about one of Square Enix’s currently unannounced games, which we can reveal is an MMO codenamed Rapture, and set for release on PS3 and PC. The game is expected to be unveiled at the Sony press conference on the Tuesday.

So it may be FFXIV afterall being shown, like gameplay or something

Why the fuck hasn't the BBC editor game been shown?

That shit was talked about back in January 2008. Two E3s have passed since then.

No show.

Can that guy make a statement or something about whether it's been shown or not? Again? He made a statement last year after E3.

Find his blog, someone email him please. We need to know wtf the story is on this game.

It was The Last Guardian.

Ha! Releasing FF7 on PSN was the final nail in the coffin for any hopes of a remake.

actually, you can see it as Squenix last chance to milk the ps1 version before the inevitable FF7 remake. just like Castlevania SoTN ps1 version come out on psn shortly before Castlevania Dracula X Chronicles come out on psp.

Where the fuck is Wardevil though?
They released screens a couple months back right? So the project is not canned, but nothing new shown either.

I'm dying to see what Sony Liverpool and Sony Cambridge have been working on for the PS3. They are both pretty far along but I think Leipzig (much like Sony Japan with TGS) will be the place for SCEE to unveil their slate rather than E3.

Interesting. At the time everyone else was swearing blind that it was Heavy Rain I was told it was an announced SCEE second party title.

*shrugs shoulders*

Eyepet was largely developed by Playlogic in Holland. Sony London may be supervising the project or 'sheparding it'.

I have a feeling that Sony London will still have some 'AAA' PS3 project in the works.
