Then why did it get an above average score? Stupid inflated rating systems. And for the record, Payback is not an average shooter. It's a shitty one. A shitter. lol...poop.
And it's weird how it's full price in the US. Oh well, hopefully it means less copies sold.
There is nothing to defend. It's a numerical score plus a tagline that pretty much says it's the best DMC yet (or the purest form of it). There is no actual content to the review to talk about, why would it reach past page 3?
I will be waiting for the full US reviews as well as my own impressions of the game but from the looks of it, this will still be the best DMC yet. People bringing in DMC2 into this thread... need some serious help.
The DMC4 score does not concern me. DMC3/DMC3:SE got tons of 8's thrown at it and it was for me, and many others, the greatest action game ever made. Period.
