I just want some info real quick from those of you that know:
So you can play in "offline mode" if you want to play your SP games? Does the system have to have already done the 24-hour license check or no? And it has to be the master system for the account, right?
I ask because my friend and I have each others' PS4s set as our master systems so we can gameshare. So I guess if we set them to offline mode we can play the games tied to each other's accounts, BUT we wouldn't be able to play them under our own profiles, correct? Is it possible to switch your master system when PSN is down?
Currently all the games are working under my profile, but if the servers really are down until the 7th does't that mean that the games on my account will lock up once it has been 24 hours since a license check?
It's not really a big deal for me since I have plenty of other stuff to play on other devices, but I just want to be sure. My friend will probably be content playing XCOM and SCII on his new laptop anyway.
As a Vita owner, I had to sacrifice Remote Play over the internet to do the gameshare set-up, but I decided that was fine because I have a big Vita backlog too. I always told myself, however, that when I'm ready to take my master account back the games he bought on his account will be much cheaper and I can buy them again if I really want to (we split some 50/50, but usually just buy what we want and tell the other it's available for them). TBH I'm the one with the crazy spending habits, anyway.
