In any case, I've always disliked him due to the fever that hit Gainesville over him. Even the "PDQ" he franchised here was big news. Ugh.

He lived in my apartment complex. I didn't really know him, but I saw him around. (He did his own laundry!) He was in the parking lot chilling when I came back to change clothes.

He was a really nice guy. The media has always gone a little crazy around him, but I don't really think that's his fault.

Well, it makes sense that Bradford and Sanchez would be in front. I don't know about Barkley, but I also don't know why the hell the Eagles insist on keeping Teebs at QB. Make him a fucking FB and run some trick plays to have him throw once in a while. This isn't complicated. Of all people I thought Chip Kelly would understand that.

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Sam Bradford will not be playing against the Indianapolis Colts this Sunday afternoon. Coach Chip Kelly said Bradford's preseason debut won't come until the Eagles play the Baltimore Ravens next week on Saturday, August 22nd.

With Bradford out, Kelly confirmed veteran Mark Sanchez will make the start against the Colts. Sanchez is not expected to play long. Kelly said the starters will likely only play eight to 10 snaps. Look for backups Matt Barkley and Tim Tebow to get plenty of action.

Are you watching on NFL Network via a DVR/TV? Or via the app? I noticed that on my ap it never shows the games. It always cuts to some stupid documentary instead. And no, the games I've noticed that on aren't otherwise local to me. It's some weird restriction they place on the app.

4/5 for 43 yards on his first drive just now. His throwing motion looked a lot more compact and better than it used to. Will probably be playing for the entire 4th quarter as well.

Mixed bag from Tebow today. Had a great first drive, but then got hit a lot on subsequent drives (due to a combination of holding onto the ball too long and bad o-line play). He did finish the day with a rushing TD.

Agreed. And to be honest, when he was in college part of the reason I disliked him initially was because of that. The other reasons were because I'm an Ohio State fan and he was being enormously overrated as far as pro prospects, considering his WR were always open by at least 6 yds when he threw those bombs. But by his 3rd year I couldn't hate the dude at all, and by the time he got to Denver I actually began to like him. In this day and age, with the amount of media scrutiny, TMZ-esque thirst and, frankly, people who hate him because he's openly religious, if there was legit dirt on the guy he would have been exposed a long time ago.

He's been walking the walk so far. He's a good person. He works hard. How can I not root for that guy to succeed?

Another Gator grad here -- not fake. Extremely nice guy, as were his parents. They attended every home game and were always great with the other people attending. We're a pretty rough group, so it was pretty funny to see people's language and mannerisms change around them.
