I played both. I like lawbreakers more. Feels more modern. Quake feels very old school.
So they did good then.

Can you download it from Steam without buying into the $30 champions pack?
If my computer could run Doom, it could run this, right?

We gonna get an OT for this?
Plenty of games have an Early Access threadAw yiss downloading now.
This technically isn't the full release, so we probably gotta make due with this thread for now.

See: PUBG
PUBG isn't out yet either but there is an official early access thread
The Flash claimed it back in May... but he's been banned for roughly a month-and-a-half now.
Wait, they're not allowing private servers for this?At least you can run your own (128tick) servers on CSGO

So Quake Champions is free with select Ryzen and Radeon GPU purchase! And of course I bought my Ryzen last night! Trying to get a key from AMD, but I might have to return it to Microcenter and repurchase.
so uh... no f2p yet? i'd be more than happy to try this out, even downloaded the bethesda launcher thinking it'd be an option
I suck at this game. Not feeling it. Refunded.
Can people on Bethesda.net play with people on steam?
Matchmaking times seem unplayable (several minutes sitting in queue repeatedly with no hits)...I chose "intermediate" skill, is this potentially the reason? I was hoping to hit the most common matchmaking rank but I guess everyone who bought it already must be l33t. I played in two CBT weekends and didn't have any matchmaking waits longer than 30 secs.

How's the player base for this? There are only 730 people playing on Steam which seems...really bad.
I don't think there were numbers for the beta but yea its not popular.
They seem to be taking things slowly though and are committed to supporting it throughout all of 2018.

Weird, i thought brand alone would make this at least a mild success, especially at launch.
