Ever had a Quest bar, brah? It has one of the best nutritional makeups of any protein bar on the market.

Just look at this shit!

I know a lot of you fit-brahs eat these religiously so you'll need to post in here what your TOP TIER FLAVORS are!

#1 - APPLE PIE!

#2 - Cinnamon roll!

#3 - Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough!

Truly one of the best protein bars out there, and they are available at retailers for approximately $25 per box of 12. dooooooooooope!

If you've tried protein bars before, don't get caught slipping brah, try Quest and come to our side!

Quest! Quest! Quest!

Secret pro-tip:

heat these motherfuckers in the microwave

You're gonna love it brah.

Top flavor

Cookie dough

Second best flavor

Cookie dough.

If you're eating any other brand of protein bar you are literally an idiot.

brah that's a little cold hearted

cookie dough is PRETTY DOPE but it's no Apple Pie.

apple goddamn pie.

Quest Bars take protein bars out of the poor neighborhood and into the affluent

Can't find cookie dough to save my life.

PB&J, Chocolate Brownie, and PB Supreme are all top tier.

I believe cookie dough is exclusive to GNC still. STILL!

I just wish they would go all the way and leave out sucralose/stevia and the other sweeteners as well. Why is everything got to be sweet?

Yup, gave 'em a shot but the sweetness was too much for me too. Like the idea behind them though and have pointed many friends to them when they ask which bars I would recommend.

Cookie Dough is dope but they're too sweet for me to love the most.

Cinnamon Roll was just the shit. Especially heated. So good.

i've had the cinammon roll and the apple pie. gotta try the cookie dough though.

i like that they're sweet and don't taste like ass.

#1- PB Suepreme
#2- Cookie dough
#3-PB&J

Love me some quest bars!

are you a fiend for peanut butter in general? between that and mint those are 2 of my most favorite flavas. I should try PB supreme then yes?

I bought some and really dislike them, too sweet and too hard. I've only had coconut and never thought to microwave them.

I'm a PB whore. Self diagnosed.

EDIT: I'll expand my list...

#4-Apple Pie
#5-Strawberry cheesecake
#6-Brownie

I like all of them except for the the berry one, the lemon one, and the choco peanut butter.

Also, their peanut butter cups are chalky and terrible. Avoid.

Cannot emphasize enough how these things are a freakin lifesaver when you're trying to control your hunger pangs while dieting. Taste better than other protein bars and with awesome nutritional profile to boot. Bought three boxes about a month ago ( Chocolate Peanut Butter, Chocolate Brownie, Banana Nut Muffin), now I'm left with 9 bars:

New #1 best flavor

1. White Chocolate Raspberry - if you like sweet things, it's very sweet
2. Chocolate chip cookie dough
3. Peanut butter and Jelly
4. Apple Pie
5. Banana nut muffin
6. PB Supreme
7. Coconut Cashew
8. I'll just stop there.

Those are the 3 worst.

Also, I tested the peanut butter cups before they were released and they weren't good. They modified them and sent me another box. Still too dry but not terrible. I'd just never buy them over regular quest bars.

I also tested a chocolate crisp bar that sucked so bad they never released it. I still have some left.

Strawberry cheesecake just tastes like strawberry to me. Not bad, but not enough cheesecake. Sort of like PB&J without the PB.

We already have this thread. Its called the GAF Fitness thread.

If it wasn't for this thread I would likely still not know about this brand of protein bar. With the positive consensus on them here, I'll definitely look for them in my area.

they charge 24 dollars for 12 of them

its all about the packaging

they are packaging cheap as fuck shit and selling it to you telling you its got no soy and shit and you are paying it

What was your decision on joining a gym? Did you go for it?

Thanks to fitgaf, I'm completely addicted to these.

Favorites are def cookie dough, vanilla almond crunch, chocolate brownie, and strawberry cheesecake.

Quest bar's nutritional profile is so good that I can tolerate paying the premium for them over other lower priced protein bars.

If you took advantage of GNC's recent B2G1 sale and coupon then you're really only paying a little over a buck each.

I'm working on getting enough Quest bar boxes so that I can build a shed with those boxes to store any future boxes.

These are really good, just wish more places would carry them locally other than GNC so I could pick one up in a pinch instead of ordering a bunch from Amazon.

It's absolutely hilarious that this thread got made.

I usually eat a CLIF bar for breakfast. Are these better?

Way the hell less sugar (and total carbs) in these. It's why fitness-gaf prefers them in general- one of the few snack bar products that isn't as sugary as a candy bar.

If you were a distance runner or some other person doing a ton of other cardio that needed to refuel, a clif bar might make sense. Most other people don't need that many carbs in such a tiny package (from a nutritional standpoint, IDK about flavor).

Also, many of Fitness-gaf's addicts claim that some of the flavors taste amazing so it may be a wash b/t this and the sugary ones on the taste front.

But isn't it good to get both protein and sugar in the morning, so you can have short term and long term energy?

But isn't it good to get both protein and sugar in the morning, so you can have short term and long term energy?

Ehhh it's generally a good thing to have as little sugar as possible regardless of what time it is (unless you're a diabetic, I'm not so IDK if your blood sugar could ever be so low that you need sugar asap). If you need "short term energy" to get going it's cause you're tired, and either a better sleep cycle or a small dose of caffeine would be better than relying on sugar.

And characterizing protein as a long term energy source isn't really accurate. It's an essential nutrient your body needs to function, so eating enough of it will generally make you feel healthier than you would with too little, but carbs and fat are both more of an energy source than protein.
