i have this small question. when you turn the slim ps2 and a GAME is inside, does the lens click couple of times or so before reading the disk? i have tried 2 of the PAL units [ one is silver spch-70004 series and the new black spch-75004 series. and its kinda the same thing. however, i didnt notice this with the slim japanese ps2 model. [ or maybe it was but i didnt notice it ]


anyone can confirm this? its just small click sound from the lens as soon as you turn the ps2 on and a dvd is inside

Hmm, just tried it but I didn't hear a click, just some slight buzzing for a second.

its not really a click.its like a small sound that you have to be very close to your ps2 to hear it, its like its checking if there is a disk to read. that kind of click,
