I definitely agree with this. For me progressive representation isn't about cutting out one representation of women but rather providing more of them. Simple fact is that not everyone who likes the more 'evocative' female designs are male and while the more revealing types of character aren't typically my thing, personally, I don't personally see a problem with there being some in a roster as long as it's not the only type of female design. This is why characters like Makoto are great, but the entire female roster doesn't need to be Makoto clones either or all dress like men
Don't get me wrong Wuth, there's definitely an issue with the representation of women in games and at the companies I've worked at I've often fought tooth and claw to even get ANY female characters into the games, nevermind even a diverse selection of them so there's plenty of room for improvement, but at the same time I'm not sure the people constantly demonising the few we do get is helping any. Lest we forget that Mika is the 3rd female in the entire roster so far out of 10 reveals and is the only single female grappler in the entire series :s
