Radiohead announces 2016 tour dates

I was in virtual line for the Radiohead tickets at 9am, 10am they went on sale (for the Amsterdam concert). Got two tickets! So happy! Finally seeing one of my favorite bands live for the first time!

I went in line at 9.37 and made it. yikes.

I went when they were live in the westerpark in ams about 6 years back. perfect weather and all was golden. 10.30pm with the sun going down listening to radiohead in the open air was fucking aces.

Are tickets being re-sold by scalpers yet?

the only way you can scalp tickets is have the person turn up with you and show ID. both my tickets have my name on them, so 1 other person has to show up with me.
 
Sorry guys. Trying my luck in a couple hours at MSG. Could potentially be my first Radiohead show (though I did see Atoms a few years ago), so hopefully I break through.

Probably none, they're in Paris just before the Roundhouse gigs and in Lyon right after. But someone said a Roundhouse rep mentioned to check the site again maybe a week before the gig, in case tickets are returned or something.
 
use the mobile app if you can't get any through the site

it appears to use a separate batch of tickets and I was able to get 2 through it without much trouble
 
Don't give up hope if you don't get tickets today. Ticketmaster will always slowly open more tickets a few days later
 
one of my desktop browsers just hit 2 more after like 10 minutes of stuck at searching, not lower bowl though

can't buy it with the 2 per limit, but don't refresh

seriously give the mobile app a try too

Mobile app not giving me any luck :/ also now it's just giving me a no tickets found screen the second I research so yeah, seems like it's done.
 
I wish we could go back to standing in a real line so scalpers wouldn't have nearly as much of a presence as they do now.
 
GA or bust for me. I hate stadium seating concerts, and they are so expensive on Stubhub right now. I might just wait it out.
 
Ok, I caved and bought one for 200 on stubhub. Did I just get ripped off or can I actually expect a Ticket? If it's a paycheck down the drain oh well, I'll live.
 
Total fucking bust. :(

Though I've still got a "searching...sit tight" going on the Wednesday show. Maybe they just forgot to boot me out.

So it'll be a legitimate ticket but I won't be allowed in? Gee, hopefully not. Would I be able to be reimbursed by Stubhub if that happens? Also, is the person I bought from able to just back out at anytime? Like it says the tickets wont even be uploaded till the 22nd of July. Could they just say "screw this dude" and take them down and sell for higher?

I was lucky enough to get third row tickets to the show in Houston in 2008. Absolutely fantastic. Definitely worth skipping prom. Definitely worth listening to Vampire Weekend and playing CS:Source all night with a script refreshing their website because RH only announced the date that the tickets went on sale. My HS buddy woke up and IMed me at ~8ish (guessing here) and I told him they hadn't gone on sale. He started refreshing as well. Then he said he was gonna take a shower, and while he was taking the shower (well, I'm assuming he told me the truth) the tickets went on sale. Poor duder went to prom and hated it. I did buy him a shirt though.
 
Definitely keep checking for the next hour or so. Ticketmaster seems to release tickets in smaller waves.

I got two great tickets to Tool about an hour and a half after they went on sale by continuing to try the mobile app. Kept trying after that just to see and got another hit about 15 minutes later.

Ticketmaster does really suck though. I understand the issues with this, but I really wish that they'd just force Will Call or some ID system that cuts out the scalpers.

Ok I called MSG, said I should be good buying from a second party and won't need an ID or anything. So hopefully the ticket I bought does indeed come through. It's suppose to be an electronic ticket too so I guess that'd be harder to fake for the lister.

I can't speak for the service, but my only worry would be they trying to sell the same e-ticket twice. But you know, this a risk with all e-codes. Hopefully works out.

Hopefully, Stubhub seems like they'll actually reimburse me if it goes south though. Just hoping going south doesn't mean I show up the day of and am turned away :/

I've bought electronic tickets multiple times from Stubhub with no issues. You shouldn't have anything to worry about.

Did you get them instantly or not until 5 days till the event? It says I won't be able to get the ticket till the 22nd of July. Which to me seems like the person doesn't even have the ticket. Just being paranoid.

Usually just an immediate download. I think the seller picks delivery method.
 
Holy shit my friend got 2 tickets to both dates at the shrine and he's letting me get one of them.

It's a miracle 😭🙏🏻
